Chapter 15

*Shayna's P.O.V

I woke up at eight o'clock, and Alyssa was already downstairs watching TV. "Morning." she said with a smile on her face. "Well good morning. Are you excited for today?"

"Oh yeah."

"Did you find a job yet?"

"Not yet."

"Did you see if Tapioca Express is hiring? Its right down the street."

"No I didn't."

"Well we can ask Olive if they're still hiring when she gets here."

"What are you going to ask me?" Olive said walking in. "I thought you were going to be here at nine?" I replied. "Well I was excited so I couldn't wait." Olive said sitting on the couch next to Alyssa. "Is Tapioca Express still hiring?" Alyssa asked Olive. "As of yesterday yes. That one lazy girl I was telling you about finally got fired."

"About time." I said. "Yeah she had a few customers complain about her terrible service and Maria fired her right in front of me." I laughed. "I'm going to get dressed and we can head out."

We headed to the mall first. "I'm sorry I called you last night and told you what we were going to do. I just really needed this." Olive said as we walked into Charlotte Russe. "No it's fine. I needed it too."

"Don't try to front. I know you wanted to hang out with Myles." Olive said. She obviously saw right through me. I laughed. "I hang out with Myles every day. I think we both need a break. I'm not saying that I'm getting tired of him. I just don't want to be one of those couples that spend every waking minute together." I stated. "True. Those couples are annoying as fuck." Olive stated. "Oh I forgot to ask but how was dinner with your dad's family and Myles?" Alyssa asked. "Yeah I heard about that. How did it go?" Olive said butting in. "It went awesome. My dad really likes Myles, and so does everyone else. I got to meet my sister Scarlet and my brother Jeremiah."

"It's a good thing you still have family around though. You really need it." Alyssa said. "I really do, but now that I have you guys it's even better." I saw Olive grab a shirt and look at it. "I have that exact same shirt packed up in my apartment. I don't wear if you want it."

"Yes!"

We did a little bit more shopping, and headed to the salon to get pedicures and manicures. We talked while we were getting our pedicures. "You know I was thinking about dying my hair." I said turning my head towards Olive. "You totally should."

"Yeah but what color though?" I've had the urge to dye my hair recently but just didn't know what color to dye it. My mom never let me dye my hair so its been the same bland brown hair all my life. "Why don't you dye it mint?" Olive said. "Omg yes!!"

"We'll see if they can do it for you while we're here."

We walked out of the salon and I could not stop looking at my hair. It look so good. "I am so glad I did this." I said touching my hair. "Yeah it looks good." Alyssa said touching my hair. "I can't wait to see what Myles says." Olive said with a smile on her face. "Same. You should invite them over to my place when we get there, and I'll try to hide my hair so he'll be surprised."

"Alright." she said pulling her phone out. I was half nervous and half excited. Nervous because what if he doesn't like my hair. Excited because I can't see what he says about it.

When I got home I threw a jacket on, put my hair up, and hid my hair under the hood of my jacket. "They're walking up the stairs right now!" Olive yelled. I took a deep breath and walked out to the living room and sat down. Myles walked in and came over and kissed me. "Why do you have a jacket on? Its not even cold." he said with a smile on his face. "I have to show you something." I said getting ready to pull the hood down. I pulled the hood down and took it out of the ponytail to reveal my hair. He was shocked. "Do you like it?" I asked nervously. "Yeah it looks really good. What did you think I wasn't gonna like it?" he asked reaching to touch my hair. "Yeah."
