“AND I THOUGHT YOU THREW THIS AWAY?”
THE CONSULTANT QUESTIONED, holding her hand to see the familiar ring embedded with the most expensive crystal known during their ancient era. (Name) stole her hand away from him, not so pleased by the sudden touch...
"Why do you care? It's not like you didn't throw yours," she argued back. She then looked at his hands, "I don't see any rings."
"Oh?" He hummed before pulling something from his neck, showing the same replica of the ring she was wearing. "I told you, I would never betray the one I love. That's you, (Name)... Please believe me," he sighed.
She turned her head, "Mr. Tartaglia bought this for me earlier. I don't even think this is the same ring you gave me before," she told him. "You can have the ring if you want to. It's not like I'll ever need it," she took out the ring from her finger before placing it on his palm.
"If you'll listen to me, you'll understand everything," he tried to convince her. She just gave him an unamused look, making him sigh, "Please..."
Lumine barged in and kicked Zhongli out of (Name)'s eyesight, "Oops! I slipped, sorry!" She sarcastically apologized, smiling slyly at the disguised Archon. "Stop flirting with Tsunotaro. Get your own, Mr. Zhongli," she said while hugging the wait of the Thorn Archon.
They were on their way to buy kites. Paimon was eating something (popcorn) while watching her companion fighting with the consultant over the Queen's attention. (Name) just chuckled lightly before letting Lumine guide her upstairs. Zhongli glared at the blonde girl, who stuck her tongue out...
"There are other beautiful women, so find someone for yourself. This one's mine," the blonde-haired uttered while brushing off the brown-headed male's hand away. "Right, Tsunotaro?"
(Name) smiled before patting the head of Lumine, "Yes, yes. Don't worry, dear... Don't mind Mr. Zhongli," she advised. "We must continue now before it's too late."
"Ah, sir, you're here..." An elderly woman, who seems to sell kites, said as she trailed her sight on Zhongli. "The seven kites you asked for have been made to order. Would you like to take them now?" She questioned.
(Name) stared at one of the kites in display—a blue Qilin-like design. It reminds her of when Ganyu was still a baby, unable to control the shape-shifting powers that if you surprised her, she'll turn into a large Qilin (possibly to squash you to death). (FLASHBACK) Ganyu and (Name) were currently in Cloud Retainer's abode...
