     “I MISSED YOU SO MUCH, (NAME).”

THE GUUJI Yae said, hugging the said Archon. How many years was their last talk? 500 years and two days? But surely, the last time they saw each other was when she and Ei left for Khaenri'ah. The fox mostly cuddles herself from either the couple's breasts (she said it's comfy)...

     Yae smirked and grabbed (Name)'s breast, earning a terrified shriek from the other. "I see it's still comfy for me to lie on. This is why I love you~," she teased.

     (Name) pushed the fox's hold, "I didn't come to Inazuma to be your pillow, Miko. Stop that," she scolded. In instinct, Yae's ear even lowered from an old friend's order, "Come on. Please be serious."

     "After leaving Inazuma? Throwing the ring Ei especially gave to you?" Yae questioned, raising an eyebrow. "I was jealous you two got married and I wasn't able to join, but that doesn't mean you can just throw away the ring like that."

     "I'm sure you're aware she left, right? She went to some kind of domain, locking herself from the world," (Name) argued back. "I know she gave you the electro gnosis, maybe even her ring—"

     "Oh, she didn't. She took the ring with her," the fox interrupted. "You two sure are wives, locked themselves from the world for like... 500 years? Ganyu sent me a message here ‘Mom’ visited her and planted a bunch of Qingxin for her."

     The Queen almost facepalmed herself, "Right... You know my former husband is Morax. Along with my children on his side," she murmured while her friend is chuckling. "Yae, there's a reason why I'm here and I'm not here to play with you."

     "Are you caught up from happenings here in Inazuma?"

     "I—"

(Name) stopped, noticing the expression Yae has. She often has a silly and teasing facade, mocking whoever she talks to (indirectly or directly, depending on her mood). Now, she has a mixture of mocking and a serious face like she knows something the other don't...

     "All I know is Inazuma is in a lockdown, Sakoku Decree in fact. I heard it's part of the Vision Hunt Decree," (Name) started and Yae hummed in response. "Ei hasn't returned from her domain and another puppet who looks like her, the Shogun, is the ruler of Inazuma."

      "That sums up all of the main problems. But you're forgetting something... I know you have eyes even though you're hidden in your hometown," Yae remarked. "Little Ortho and his big brother, Idia Shroud? Your acolytes?"

     (Name) grumbled from her friend's recap, "Yes yes... They're citizens from the Land of Thorns. How did you find out?"

     "Took me a couple of years, actually!" The fox exclaimed. "Idia never goes out of his home, Ortho is the one responsible for buying their necessities. I saw him fighting some samurais one time without using any elements. Then I remembered who also can fight their foes without using the elements... You."

     "Of course, you're smart..."

     "Why thank you. I love getting compliments from the Almighty Thorn Archon~," Yae cooed. "And I'm sure you know Kunikuzushi is discarded, yes?"

     "Yes..." (Name) replied, feeling bad from the news. "I've known Ei for years, but she discarded Kunikuzushi... She was never the type to just let go of someone just because they're unworthy."

That was true. When Ei finished her work, Kunikuzushi or Scaramouche (his current name), she and (Name) were awed at her work. The wives adored their first child, pampering him with different things and foods (at first he doesn't know how to consume it because he was still a puppet). Even though he isn't a real person, the two of them treated him as a son and taught him many things...

     "I know that (Name). You and Ei loved Kunikuzushi after all," Yae nodded. "You two never tried to lift a finger on the poor puppet, spoiling with things and showing off your abilities, too. However, I don't know why Ei never tried to destroy him when she discarded him."

     "He was... He possesses a perfect form to be a God to replace her, I made sure of that. So why would she create another one?" She asked the fox, who smirked at her. "Come on, Yae. I need answers."

     "I need answers, too, (Name). Ei never told me the reason why she discarded her first puppet and made the Shogun," the fox shrugged as she continued finishing her last ramen bowl. "When I first saw her, I thought she returned. I guess I was wrong that time."

     "That's true... I was thinking the same thing," (Name) nodded. "I'm still confused about what she's thinking. Have you talked to her?"

     "I haven't. Just like you, I and Ei haven't talked for years," Yae replied. "I don't want to try talking to the Shogun. She's quite stubborn, unlike your wife."

     "Ei is also stubborn... I don't sense any difference," the Queen muttered. "Come on, Yae. We're going to visit Tenshukaku."

     "Alright! Let me finish this and pay—" Yae stopped, patting her pockets. "Oh! I think I forgot to bring my wallet... Hehe..." She laughed wryly.

(Name) rolled her eyes before taking a couple of mora bags, and giving them to Yae. The fox grinned as they skipped through the stairs and gave her payment to the owner before they left the ramen shop...

     "Oh, yes. This is the ring you threw," the pink head chortled and gave the purple ring to the (h/c)-haired woman. "I'm sure you recognize it?"

     "Of course. It's our wedding ring..."

Maybe fate was giving her a chance to reconcile with her former spouses and their children. But then again, how about Lumine? True, the blonde hates her due to a date with her son (Kaeya) and she isn't aware (Name) doesn't like him "romantically". Then again, no one can erase their chemistry already...

     "Welcome back to Inazuma, (Name)..."

     "Do you need to whisper that, Yae?"

     "Be grateful I even greeted you!"
