When the September camp came around a lot of things had changed.

The weather had turned almost autumnal. There was a bitter edge to the wind, and it was drizzling on and off in the days leading up to the camp and it was expected to continue. The two matches that the team had were in 10 & 14 days and with one home and one abroad they were all hoping that the weather would improve for the home one.

Sophia had felt changed since the last camp. Her long brown hair had been lopped to just beneath her shoulders with some blonde balayage thrown in before she had gone away early in the summer. Her skin was certainly more Sunkissed from her 2 weeks in Portugal and her last-minute girl's trip to Marbella over August bank holiday weekend.

She was feeling extremely refreshed and ready to go again. She was so excited when she walked into St George's Park last week, having the extended break and saw all of backroom staff. However, she was looking forward to today the most as the boys were back and she would be able to go back to what she does best, bossing them around.

A lot had also changed for Mason since he left here in the middle of June. He had gone away for his holiday's, and he had managed to unwind. The sun had bought out his freckles and added some light flecks in his hair. He had made some great memories this summer too, but it wasn't all plain sailing.

After he had returned from Dubai in the middle of July him and Daisy realised things weren't right. They tried for a week or so to see if they could make things work but they both decided they were better as friends than anything else, so they went their separate ways.

He had told Daisy she could stay living in their house, but she decided she needed a change of scenery so moved back home, just on the outskirts of London almost 2 months ago now. However, she had been back to the house since then, once to pick up some of her bits she had left which had led to a couple of drinks and her spending the night and on 2 more occasions since then, with both ending the same way.

They had tried to put a boundary up, thinking now they weren't together that they could behave like friends. However, it was like once the title was taken away from them and the pressure of their relationship gone they found themselves wrapped up with one another more often than not.

Mason thought he would be devastated when it was over, and he would be lying if he said he wasn't upset initially. He had hated the first night alone in their house, he had thought about calling her, begging her to come home and pleading that they could make things work, but he didn't. And since then, it had gotten easier.

He wasn't sure if it was due to the attention he had been receiving since he became single or the fact that his eye was now free to wander. And as he walked back down to the entrance hall at St George's Park his eyes landed directly upon Sophia as she stood drinking one of the smoothies that had been made and he couldn't help but smile.

His mind had flitted back to Sophia so many times this summer, she was so different to the other girls in his life. Firstly, she was one of his bosses which was a bit of a turn on for him. Hearing her tell him off or praise him for his hard work had played in his mind over the summer and aided him to at least a few releases. Secondly she was stunning, but in an effortless way. She was so similar to Daisy, just like an older version and he has always been certain that he has a type and she fits it. And lastly he thinks the main attraction he has is that he feels that nothing would possibly happen with them, she was older than him and like he said she was his boss, there was a boundary line you shouldn't cross.

But that didn't mean he didn't appreciate looking at her, he didn't fantasise about what she looked like underneath her England training gear or what sounds he could make her make if he was able to take her to bed.
