"Oi Oi" said Mason as he got closer to Sophia, a bottle of beer in his hand as he looked down towards her.
She had a low-cut shirt on, tucked into some high waisted jeans and from this angle he could practically see down her top which he refrained from doing, however hard it was.
"Mount" she said as she smiled up at him, before pulling the bottle of drink up to her lips which caused him to laugh.
"You came prepared" he said pointing his beer bottle towards the prosecco.
"I'm so classy" she winked at him as she took another sip as he burst out laughing.
Mason finished off his bottle of beer, shaking it slightly to see if there was anything left in there but there wasn't "Mind if I join you?" he asked as he gestured towards the space next to her.
"Be my guest" she said as he slumped down next to the trunk with her, their thighs practically touching as he placed the empty beer bottle down next to him.
"So how come you are out here then?" he asked as she turned slightly to look at him, her green eyes sparkling in the starlight.
"Needed a break from Liam's stories" she chuckled as he laughed too.
"Yeah he can be a bit much" he remarked having overheard him already tell 2 people about when he saw Peter Crouch in Sainsbury's last year and had to ask him to reach something off the top shelf for him.
"Understatement of the century" Sophia said with a grin "anyway, could ask you the same thing?"
Mason laughed "just needed some fresh air" he replied, which wasn't completely a lie.
He was feeling rather flustered while he was sat in the building, the air was stuffy and with the amount of voices in there it had become a bit overwhelming. However, that wasn't the main reason he had stepped outside. He had been looking over at Sophia all evening, she was two tables across and when Dec moved to the left he had a perfect view of her. He had watched the way she laughed, she smiled and the way she rolled her eyes, that was the side of Sophia he liked the most.
So, when she got up from the table, slipped a bottle of drink into her hand and headed to the exit he had this urge to follow her. He didn't know why or what he would do if he got near to her, but she had been so vivid in his mind, in his dreams for a while now and he knew tonight was the last night for him to spend any time alone with her.
He gave it 5 minutes, drank the shot of Sambuca that Dec had bought over and then picked his bottle up and headed outside. He walked around in circles for a bit, not sure what way she would have gone but then he saw her, sat underneath the tree and his feet carried him towards her.
"Looking forward to getting back to club football?" Sophia asked pulling him from his thoughts.
"Yeah a bit" Mason admitted, he loved playing for Chelsea, it was his boyhood dream and he seemed to thrive in his Chelsea Blues, but he was also going to miss this "but I like being here too"
"Yeah it's nice having you here" said Sophia, before she carried on, covering up the mistake that had slipped out "All of you boys are so lovely so it's nice when you are all here"
Mason clung onto the first of Sophia's words, that she liked having him here, not everyone else, just him. Maybe it was the drink that was making him feel all giddy about the prospect of her actually fancying him, like the way he fancied her, neither-the-less he knew how he felt so he was going to enjoy having her to himself.
"It's nice being with you too" he replied back, he didn't see any point beating round the bush.
Since Daisy and him had split he had been so uncertain on things, however when he was round Sophia he felt the certainty return. He was certain that she was hot, he was certain that he fancied her, and he was certain that when he was with her he felt like himself again.
