Confused would be the best word to describe how Mason was feeling. He had been at the camp for 2 days now and he was yet to speak to Sophia on her own. He had been down to the smoothie bar at 8:45am both mornings and she never showed, at training she had her 'coach' attitude on and even when he tried to meet her gaze she would look away and when it came to their down time she was no where to be seen.

He had sent her a few messages on Instagram with no responses back, he was sure something was up, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He worried at first that she regretted what happened with them. It wasn't until he went down to lunch the following day after training when the lightbulb clicked.

"Nah I'm telling ya now, swear down, she was like some goddess" said Jack laughing as he approached the table with Liam by the side of him "c'mon lads, back me up, wasn't Emily like proper peng?" he said towards the table, referring to the girl who he ended up sleeping with when he came over to Mykonos.

"She was alright" said Dec laughing as he turns to Ben "I can't really remember to be honest"

Ben laughs "Bro you were just drunk and on your phone all the time, scrolling through insta, messaging whoever it is you're messaging"

"He's always on his phone" said Mason laughing as Dec nods his head in agreement.

"How would you know anyway?" said Ben as he looked towards Mason "you were too busy all over that Izzy" he cocked his eyebrow at Mason as the rest of the lads burst out laughing.

"Yeah I heard about this" Liam said with a laugh as he sits next to Dec "Jack filled me in on all your adventures" Jack burst out laughing as he slapped his hand onto Liam's back.

"Bro" said Ben as he shook his head at Jack "you have no filter"

"What?" said Jack laughing "It was funny" he shrugged his shoulders.

"Is that why you guys have been training us harder these past few days?" asked Dec as he laughed "pay back for how crazy our summer was"

Liam bursts out laughing "Nah but that's a good shout" he smirked as the boys voiced a mixture of laughs and groans "might have to run it past the team and see if what they think"

"Let me guess, you and Josh been having a good laugh about us all" said Ben as he is sure Jack will have told the story about how he ended up getting a blowie off some girl on the beach late at night before taking her friend home to fuck her.

"Yep" said Liam as he laughed "and Sophia of course" he shrugged "she's one of the lads"

"Fuck she is gonna be all over our performance this camp then" said Dec laughing.

"Yeah she has heard how well we perform of the pitch" said Jack laughing "she wants to see if we can do the same on the pitch now" all the boys burst out into laughter, Mason did too, but it was all a front.

Sophia knew.

That was why things were weird. That was why he hadn't heard from her in the build up to camp and why she had avoided him since they were here. He felt a sickness fill his stomach as he pushed away the plate of chicken and tomato pasta that he had picked up for lunch.

Suddenly he had lost his appetite, but he was more worried about losing something or someone else.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

A loud tapping startled Sophia from her work, hearing it over the sound of her 90's playlist that was playing quietly through her ear pods. She frowned as she looked at the time, she had no meetings planned and normally everyone would be off doing something. Neither-the-less as they knocked the door again, she guessed they weren't going anywhere.
