Sophia finds herself sat in the pub garden with Amy, Hanna, and Char, they had already shared a jug of Pimm's, and another was on its way to the table along with their meals.

Sophia had opted for a burger, topped with pulled pork and a portion of chunky chips, she always tried to eat relatively well in the build up to one of the England camps and throughout it, however she was allowing herself an April full of indulgence.

Especially with ending things with Mason she thought she needed to give herself some kind of treats.

"Right birthday plans" said Amy with an animated expression as she looks towards her fish and chips that's just been placed in front of her "we need to work out if we wanna do something joint this year babe or something separate?" she asks towards Sophia, knowing there is only 3 weeks between them.

"So with work I'm not going to be able to just get loads of time off" Sophia starts, knowing that with the way things are with the Euro's coming up that she can't just take time away from the office, when she needs to be planning "I know I'm meant to be in from like mid-may till July without any real breaks" she did however have 2 days off over her birthday as it was just before camp started but she didn't really want to tell them that, she wasn't sure if she would just want to rest before the chaos that would be coming.

"Okay so how about we do something for both of you at the beginning of the month?" asks Hanna, dipping her chip into the pot of BBQ sauce on Char's plate "We could go away for a night or 2, possibly get an air bnb with a hot tub and just get away" she smiled.

"Love that idea" said Amy, raising her eyebrows at Sophia, urging her for an answer.

"Perfect" she agrees, knowing its just what she needs as well.

"We can look at places this week and book it when you come to mine next weekend?" said Char, reminding them all of the BBQ at hers the following weekend which Sophia was actually looking forward to.

She had found that she had to keep herself busy to stop her thinking about Mason, and on some days it was easier said than done.

Last night she had ended up scrolling through his posts on Instagram, looking at his stories and her heart just kept sinking.

She knew she had no right to feel that way as this was something they both agreed but she kind of hated seeing him looking happy, even though that made her sound mean.

But she had seen this photo of him in a white button down shirt, next to a few other people, all smiling with the slogan 'White Party'.

She had clicked through the photos in the section, looking at the smile on his face, his tan popping against the crisp white material and the way his freckles were dotted around his nose.

The last photo of that night was him smiling at the camera, bloodshot eyes, clearly drunk while he stood amongst a large group of people, Dec to the side of him and in the middle of them both was Daisy again.

She felt jealous of anyone touching him but especially his ex, it made her feel worse.

When she clicked on his stories she was sure she would see more Daisy and Mason content, convincing herself that they were more than just friends but instead she saw pictures of him in swim shorts and an unbuttoned shirt.

He was on a boat surrounded by lots of half-naked people, a bottle of beer in his hand, a video showing the endless sea and the music blasting.

Sophia clicked off the story, she had seen enough, she could only guess he was moving on the way he had been doing so well before, by getting under anyone and everyone so she didn't want to see anymore.

If he was moving on then so was she, she wasn't going to wait around for him, she wasn't going to be the one to be made to feel silly.

Mason had been getting himself ready for a night out, he had planned this with Daisy when she had taken some photos at the Chelsea ground, and he was buzzing.

He always had a good laugh when they were all together, and he knew that was exactly what he needed, especially today.

He had found himself ready early for a change, waiting to go out as he was sat at the island in his kitchen drinking his way through one of the cocktail cans that Daisy had left round from their night here a few weeks ago while he scrolled through his phone.

He had tried his hardest to not click onto Sophia's profile as much since he left her. He knew it would hurt to see anything about her, but it was easier said than done.

He would find his thumb instantly going to her story when it would pop up, clicking through to see whatever she had been up to, what she had had for tea, the view from her home office or just her smiley face.

It was sometimes like a pinch in the gut, but other times it would put a smile on his face.

However tonight wasn't one of those nights. He had clicked onto her story seeing her sat with her friends, he could see them tagged but he already knew who they were from looking through her profile plenty of times, not to mention Soph's tales of the girls.

He could see her stood with them, in some garden, a pair of denim shorts, a small vest top and her sunglasses perched on top of her head.

He could see the blonde highlights now fresh in her hair, after seeing her hairdresser selfie the other day, and the big grin on her face, while her hand clutched a bottle of beer.

He clicked through seeing various photos of her sat with her friends, dancing to some music, a boomerang of her and Amy slut dropping that made him laugh however his emotions changed instantly as he clicked on the next one.

It was a video that had only just been put up, a video she was tagged in from some George, that Mason was sure was the bloke she went on a date with a year ago but nothing more happened, however he was now starting to question that.

They were all sat around on an outdoor lounge sofa, music was playing out as some girl was singing out loud in the background as the camera panned along the group, smiling, and singing away to the screen as he caught sight of Sophia.

She was sat on that George's lap, his arms wrapped around her waist as he sang into her ear and she smiled and sang towards the camera as the camera got to her, leaning back more into George while Mason felt physically sick inside.

He didn't look at anymore, she obviously wasn't putting her life on hold so neither should he, he wasn't going to do anything impulsive but if the opportunity came up he wasn't going to stop himself any longer.

He just wondered when that opportunity might present itself and who with exactly ...
