The next couple of days went much of the same, they had tried their hardest to remain professional when they were with others, at training he had tried his hardest to keep his cheeky attitude to himself, not wanting to draw attention to their banter or flirting. However, the second they had a chance to be alone together they took it.

Mason had snuck up to Sophia's on two other nights now, both times ending almost identical to how it did the first night. He couldn't get over how much he enjoyed just being in her presence, he loved laying next to her, her head lightly resting on his chest while he brushed his fingers through her hair, tracing patterns on her back, feeling her warm breath on his skin.

He hated the thought of camp ending soon; he hated the idea of him going back home and her staying up here. It wasn't the distance that bothered him as he knew he would drive through the night if it meant even 5 minutes with her, but it was more the implications of it all.

He wasn't sure if she would be ready for him to just pop by her work and surprise her, he was sure she would still want to keep things private with them at least for a while before they worked out what they wanted.

That was one thing they hadn't discussed at all.

After Sophia's admission that she like liked him back too they hadn't discussed it any further. They hadn't spoken about if this meant they would start dating, he didn't know if it was right to ask her to be his girlfriend, was it too soon?

He thought how everything with them had been a bit backwards so far, his mind drawn back to the fact that he had made her cum more times than he had taken her out on a date, which was currently none. He was so desperate to take her out on a proper date, show her that he was serious about her, that he didn't see her as just some girl to fuck and waste time with.

He saw her as so much more, but he didn't want to push her too far. He had seen Sophia recoil at times, he had seen her guard go up more times than he would like to remember and right now it felt like things with them were going somewhere.

He could see her at ease when they were alone together, she was no longer so concerned about the magnitude of being alone with him. She was really just enjoying spending time with him, she tried to not see them as coach and player and what that could mean for her job and instead see them as Mason and Sophia, and she really liked the way their names sounded together.

They had planned to go for a walk around the grounds during their free time this afternoon, it was something they had done on previous camps, so Sophia wasn't concerned about people seeing it as something more than innocent. Besides everyone knew how Mason would normally try and build friendships up with the backroom staff so his 'relationship' with Sophia was never bought into question.

However, an impromptu meeting had been called, which Sophia thought was a bit bizarre, it was only 2 days till camp ended so she couldn't see what reason they would have to bring everyone in at this late stage of the weeks.

As she walked through from her office she could see Alex stood at the end of the corridor a flushed expression on her face as she was talking away to Dawn, one of the admin team.

She watches Alex dismiss herself from Dawn and rush towards Sophia, linking her arm and dragging her round the corner away from any prying eyes or listening ears.

"God Stones you're gonna pull my arm off" Sophia jokes as she looks towards Alex's face, a smirk upon her lips but she could see she was bursting to say something.

"You aren't gonna believe what I have just found out" Alex said as she uses her other arm to grip Sophia's arm, pulling her face closer to hers.

"What?" she asks, a frown burrowing deep into her brow as she looks at the almost excitable expression on her friend's face.

"You know Hannah?" Alex asks as Sophia racks her brain, thinking she knows a lot of Hannah's but realises she must mean Hannah who works with her in the physio team.

"Yeah?" she questions, still frowning towards her.

"And you know Emi, from the social media team" Alex said as Sophia thinks of Emi, the cute little brunette who is always there with a smile on her face whenever Sophia walks through the media centre, she hadn't got a chance to properly get to know her, but she was always sweet to her.

"Yeah I know her" Sophia said as Alex runs her tongue over her teeth, practically bursting to speak.

"Well," she looks to each side of her, making sure no-one was listening "Grealish has been fucking both of them".

"What?" Sophia said louder than she hoped, her jaw dropping open and her eyes widening.

"Yep" Alex said frantically nodding her head "neither of them knew he was sleeping with them both, he basically did a 'Liam', accidentally told both of them to meet him in the changing room after everyone left and" Alex looks again to the side "shit went down"

Sophia shakes her head too, she had seen both girls only this morning, not together of course, they didn't hang around in the same circle, but she couldn't believe either of them would even raise their voices let alone cause anything.

"So apparently it was lots of shouting, lashing out at Jack" Alex chuckles "he had to come into my treatment room to get his foot looked at as apparently Emi kicked him while Hannah hit him with her bag" Sophia bursts out laughing "he's alright though, lucky bugger after all that he got off almost scott free".

"What the fuck" Sophia breaths out, more to herself than actually at Alex.

"But he's been sent home" Alex continues "so have the girls" she laughs "and now that's why we are being pulled into this meeting"

"Huh?" Sophia feels her frown reappear on her head, unsure of what Grealish banging two girls has anything to do with them all.

"They want to talk to us about 'inappropriate relationships'" Alex uses air quotes as she says the words while rolling her eyes "I heard Southgate talking to the head of HR while they were discussing what to do about Jack and they said that unless HR are aware of the relationship then players and staff shouldn't be getting with each other" she shrugs her shoulders as Sophia feels her blood practically drain from her body.

She knew this was too good to be true, she had just started to get comfortable having Mason in her life, seeing where this could go and now just because Grealish couldn't keep his dick in his pants she had to stop seeing Mason.

How was any of this fair?

"I told John, and he started panicking saying how we would be kept apart" Alex lets out a laugh "he is still just as naïve now as he was at 17, I told him we're married its different for us" she smiles as Sophia snaps back to reality, smiling at her friend, trying to not think about it.

After all the meeting might not be half as bad as what Alex thought.
