A few minutes later, Clarke enters the dorm room to join Skye.

Clarke sighs. "How are we gonna do this?"

Skye walks over to one of the metal frames of the bunk beds. She removes the bandage from her wound and bites her inner cheek.

"Like this." She inhales sharply as she uses the corner of the metal frame to pull out her stitches, reopening her wound.

Clarke gasps. Skye winces as pain spreads across her arm. "Your turn." She says looking up, holding her other hand over the now bleeding arm.

Clarke grabs a lamp off the side table and slams it into the ground. The lightbulb shatters and Clarke picks up a shard. She swipes it against her arm, opening a small wound.

She looks over at her sister. "Now what?"

Skye goes to respond but she feels a wave of dizziness. She's losing a lot of blood. Too much blood.

Her eyes begin to flutter shut.

The last thing she sees as she collapses to the floor is her sister screaming for help.

___

Skye wakes up in a familiar place. It's the medical ward. She glances at her arm which has now been restitched and covered. She sits up and looks to her left. Clarke is in the bed next to her, a bandage on her arm as well.

"Oh, thank god." Clarke says.

Skye huffs out a laugh. She climbs out of the cot and looks down the row of beds. A few over, lays Langston, the soldier. He's asleep. Tubes are connected to him. Skye and Clarke move closer.

"What are they doing to him?" Clarke asks.

"I don't know." Skye replies. She follows the tube up, above the bed, to a pipe. She nods for Clarke to follow, and she walks further through medical.

It goes through the wall and continues over to a separate room. Skye tries the door. It's locked.

Clarke points at an air vent and Skye pulls it open. She climbs in, followed by Clarke.  The two make it into a dim-lit room. There are odd sounds coming from around them. Skye climbs out of the vent and almost falls over at the sight.

There are machines everywhere. Two bodies hang from a contraption, upside down. Their blood is being pumped into the tubes. Skye glances further into the room. There are cages. Hundreds of them. Filled with Grounders.

She looks at Clarke who is just as shocked. "What the hell is going on here?" The blonde mumbles.

Skye shakes her head in disgust as she walks down the rows of Grounder prisoners. "They're using their fucking blood."

She gets to one of the cages and gasps. The woman, now very weak from being drained, looks up. Their eyes meet and Skye backs away from the cage. "Anya?" She whispers.

Anya, now with no face makeup, stripped down to just white undergarments, glances at the two sisters. Skye looks around. "I'm gonna get you out of here."

Clarke looks around and finds a crowbar. She hands it to her sister who uses it against the lock on Anya's cage. She snaps it off and reaches inside trying to help Anya out when suddenly the door to the harvest chamber beeps, indicating that someone is about to walk in.

"Shit! Back in." She pushes Anya in and climbs inside the cage. She pulls Clarke in with them. It's a very tight squeeze but they make it work. Footsteps are heard walking around.

It's Dr. Tsing. Skye holds a finger to her lips. Her sight goes down and she realizes that the lock is still on the floor in front of the cage, which Clarke is holding shut with her hand.

Skye holds her breath as the clipboard-holding doctor starts walking down the aisle in between the cages.

She's gonna notice.

Just as the woman gets to Anya's cage, the person in the cage above them, reaches a hand out and scares the doctor away. She rushes out of the room. Clarke sighs of relief and opens the door. Skye and Anya climb out after her.

Skye notices a different door. There's a sign on the outside that says, "End of containment zone".

She twists the door handle, and the three girls rush inside. The door shuts behind them. They are in a small room. There are no other doors.

Suddenly an alarm goes off inside the room.

Anya looks up. "What is that?"

Skye shakes her head. "I don't-"

Before she can finish her sentence, the floor below them opens up and they go tumbling down a distance before landing in a hard metal bin.

Skye rubs her head before looking around. Panic sweeps over her as she realizes what's in the bin with them. Bodies. Lots of bodies.

Clarke quickly jumps out, onto the solid floor. Skye reaches her hand over to Anya. "C'mon!"

They jump out together and glance around. They're in some kind of tunnel.

Clarke takes a deep breath. "We're out."

Skye notices a pile of clothes and rushes to it. "Quick. Get dressed. We won't cover any ground like this."

Anya shakes her head. "I won't leave my people behind."

Skye sighs. "Anya, listen to me. Our people are still inside too. But there's guards. Weapons. Once we're out, we can find help and come back to save them."

Anya eyes her. "We? There is no we."

Suddenly footsteps and loud voices are heard down the tunnel. "Someone's coming." Anya says.

Clarke shakes her head. "Not just someone. Reapers."

Skye glances around. "Quick. Get back in the cart." The three hop inside the cart, pretending to be dead.

The footsteps get closer until they're right outside the bin. There's a grunt and suddenly a body is thrown into the bin, on top of them. And another. And another.

After a few bodies have been tossed inside the cart, it suddenly starts to move, pushing Anya, Clarke, and Skye down the dark tunnel.
