They say we are what we are
But we don't have to be
I'm bad behavior, but I do it the best way
I'll be the watcher
Of the eternal flame

"Come on. These foxholes aren't gonna build themselves. Better hope those landmines work. All the gunpowder we're wasting, we could be making more grenades." Bellamy says.
"You want to come over here and test one?" Raven asks.
Skye coughs out a laugh which earns her a smirk from Raven and a glare from Bellamy.
"Cute. I need this entire section mined by morning. Then you finish the south field."
Raven stands. "Hey... I told you, we're going after Finn, Clarke, and Monty in the morning."
Skye lowers her head at that. When they found Myles in the woods, they lost contact with Monty.
She should've stayed with him. She blames herself. She ignored his pleas when he talked about the frequency. She should've listened.
Bellamy sighs. "And I told you, nobody leaves this camp."
Raven scoffs. "We can't just abandon our people. You want to lead them; show them you give a damn."
"Bell, she's right. We need to find them." Skye says.
Before he can respond, a gunshot goes off, scaring them.
Bellamy rushes over to the gate, followed by Raven and Skye. He shoves a kid on watch. "What the hell is the matter with you?"
"I'm sorry, man. I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day." The kid says.
Bellamy rolls his eyes. "We've all been on watch all day! That bullet was one less dead Grounder."
Octavia grabs his arm. "You're scaring people."
"They should be scared! The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is up! The Grounders are out there right now, waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do! Clarke, Finn, and Monty are gone, probably dead."
Skye inhales sharply, glancing at Raven who crosses her arms.
He continues. "If you want to be next, I can't stop you, but no guns are leaving this camp! This camp is the only thing keeping us alive! Get back to work!"
She stalks after him into the drop ship angrily. He sees the look on her face and pauses. "Don't you think I want to go after them too?"
She scoffs. "If it was you out there, you think Monty, Clarke, or Finn would hide behind these walls?"
"No. They'd go after me. Then they'd be dead, too. I am doing what I think is right for the group." He replies.
"It's funny, you didn't think that way when Octavia went missing." She says heading for the ladder.
"Where are you going?"
"More gunpowder, for your minefield. Sir." She says sarcastically.
Jasper is upstairs with some of the bullets. She grabs a container and heads down the ladder, stopping when she sees Murphy holding a cloth over an unmoving Myles mouth.
He looks up at her. "Uh... he stopped breathing. I was trying to help."
Skye feels like she can't breathe. She tries to contain her racing heart. She nods at him, taking a step closer to the table.
Her eyes glance over, and she spots a gun. Before she can even move to grab it, Murphy takes it and holds it up at her.
She backs fully against the table, causing things to fall over the edge. "Murphy. Put the gun down."
Jasper climbs down the ladder to see them and looks over at Skye nervously.
She holds up her hands at him. "It's okay, Jasper."
The gun is still pointed at Skye.
Murphys voice cracks a little. "He tried to kill me."
Jasper takes a step closer, and Murphy points a finger at him. "Don't move."
"Ok. Ok. It's cool." Jasper says, putting his hands up slowly.
"No, it's not. You know what'll happen to me if you tell Bellamy." He says.
Suddenly there's a crackling noise. "Tell Bellamy what?"
It's Bellamy.
Murphy shakes his head in disbelief, resting his finger on the trigger of the weapon. "Give me the radio, Skye."
She quickly holds the walkie she hid behind her back, up to her mouth. "Murphy has a gun, he killed Myles."
"Murphy, what the hell are you doing?"
Murphy snatches the walkie out of Skye's hands and pulls the lever, raising the door to the dropship.
She can hear Bellamy's voice screaming from outside.
Murphy holds down the button. "You try to be a hero, Jasper and your girlfriend dies."
Jaspers eyes widen and he looks over at her. She grinds her teeth.
She never should've trusted Murphy.
A few agonizing minutes later, the radio crackles. "Murphy! Murphy, if you even touch them, I swear to god, you're dead." Octavia says.
A minute passes and Bellamy speaks over the walkie. "Murphy, I know you can hear me. All our ammo and food is in the middle level. You know that. You're leaving us vulnerable to an attack. I can't let that happen."
Murphy holds the button again. "Yeah, well in case you haven't noticed, you're not exactly in control right now."
"Come on, Murphy. You don't want to hurt Jasper or Skye. You want to hurt me. So, what do you say? How about you trade them for me?"
Skye covers her mouth as she whispers. "No."
"All you have to do is let them go, and I'll go in their place."
Murphy considers this. "How?"
"Simple. You open the door, I walk in, they walk out."
Murphy opens the dropship door. "Just you, Bellamy. Unarmed!" He shouts through the tarp covering the opening. "10 seconds, or I'll put one in Skye's pretty little leg. One..."
He aims the gun at Skye once again. "Two. Three. Four."
"I'm here." Bellamy says through the tarp. He walks inside and his eyes widen when he sees the gun pointed at Skye.
Murphy shoves Jasper through the tarp and promptly shuts the door, locking Bellamy and Skye inside.
"What the hell? That wasn't the deal." Bellamy shouts.
Murphy shoves the gun into Skye's side causing her to whimper.
Bellamy clenches his jaw.
Murphy eyes him. "Oh well."
