___

Made it out alive, but I think I lost it

Said that I was fine, said it from the coffin

Remember how I died when you started walking?

That's my life, that's my life

I'll put up a fight

___

Skye whips on the reins of the horse, moving quickly through the woods.

She doesn't need a map; she has studied the sectors time and time again.

One day, she knew she'd be leaving the gates.

Time seems to freeze as she gallops through the trees. She is heading directly for Sector 7. Ice Nation.

They have her little sister, and she will stop at nothing to get her back.

Eventually, she makes it to this hut in the middle of the forest. It's a trading post.

She climbs off the horse, tying it to the fence and walking inside.

A blonde Grounder woman is at the counter. She watches Skye walk in.

Skye smiles gently. "Hei. Yu don yu see a blond gada pass thru?" She asks, speaking Trig.

Over the past three months, with the help of Indra and Lincoln, a handful of Arkadian's have learned Trigedasleng.

She asked the woman if she has seen a blonde girl pass by.

The woman shakes her head. "No. Ai laik fiya." She apologizes.

Skye nods, heading for the door when a man suddenly enters.

He is tall and muscular and has hair down to his shoulders. His face is dirty.

He walks around, eyeing the surroundings, staring at Skye for a moment too long.

She turns, pretending to look at the items for trade.

The Grounder woman, speaks to the man, asking if he has anything to trade.

He pulls something out of his pocket, resting it on the table. "Don seen disha blana?"

Skye doesn't have to turn around to know what's on the parchment. It's her face.

He is after her.

She takes a couple of quiet breaths, praying that the woman will lie.

The woman replies with something that Skye doesn't fully understand.

The man asks his question again, to which the woman responds saying that Skye was there two days ago.

The man hums, glancing one more time at the back of Skye's head. She can feel his eyes on her.

He looks back at the Grounder standing before him, thanking her. He exits the building, and Skye waits a moment before turning to face her.

"Thank you..." She says, in English.

The woman nods. "I'm Niylah."

"Skye."

Niylah smiles.

"I have to keep looking for my sister." Skye says, heading for the exit.

"I would wait. Give him a chance to clear out."
