___
Look me in my eyes
Tell me everything's not fine
Oh, the people ain't happy
And the river has run dry
You thought you could go free
But the system is done for
If you listen real closely
There's a knock at your front door
___
"See anything?" Raven asks.
"No." Skye replies.
Bellamy shakes his head. "Nothing yet."
Suddenly leaves rustle, past the broken gates.
"Someone's coming." Clarke says.
Skye looks through her scope and her blood runs cold. "Finn?"
He's standing just past the perimeter of the dropship, arms raised.
He turns around to look back at the four teens.
"No. Finn!" Clarke shouts, running forward.
It doesn't matter. She's too late.
Seven Grounders holding weapons, grab Finn and shout words in their native tongue as they drag him away.
___
It's nightfall now.
The group who was with Finn at the ship is back at Camp Jaha.
Large groups of Arkadian's look out past the wire fence.
In the distance, hundreds, maybe even thousands of Grounders stand, their torches lighting up the dark sky.
Some work on securing a large wooden log so that it stands up, facing the Ark.
"What is that?" Raven asks.
"It's for Finn." Clarke whispers. "They want us to watch."
"We're gonna get him. We'll get in close, and we'll hit them hard." Bellamy says.
Kane, who is standing beside Abby, speaks.
"Son... there's thousands of them. Even if we could kill hundreds... they'd still wipe out this camp and your friend would still die."
Bellamy swallows. "We have to try."
Raven turns to Skye's mother. "Abby. We have to do something."
"No, Raven." Abby says.
Raven's eyes fill with tears.
Skye looks at Bellamy. He looks back. She motions him aside, walking away from the fence line. He follows. Raven and Clarke do too.
"Take this." Skye says, handing her gun to Bellamy.
"What are you doing?" He asks her.
"I'm gonna talk to the Commander."
"What else do you have to say?"
"I don't know. I don't know..."
Bellamy holds out his hand to stop her from walking. "Skye."
