___

And from the ground, beneath my feet

I hear the anguish of the street

And like an old forgotten tune

A song that no one knows

Forgot how it goes

___

Skye stands outside on a balcony. She looks down at the streets of Polis.

It is truly a beautiful place.

She hears footsteps approaching and turns to see Roan walking up the stairs to her.

He is clean now. His hair is slicked back into a half-up half-down style.

She curtsies sarcastically. "Well, if it isn't the Prince of Azgeda."

He holds up his hands. "Don't be fooled. I'm a prisoner here, same as you."

She rolls her eyes. "You're the reason I'm a prisoner here."

"Relax, Blue. I'm here to help you."

She scoffs at the nickname. "Blue?"

He motions toward her eyes. "Blue."

She sighs, crossing her arms. "What do you mean, you're here to help?"

He leans against the railing they stand in front of. "Commander promised to lift my banishment if I delivered you safely. She broke our deal. I'm willing to strike a new one with you, so that we can both go home."

"I'm already going home."

"Then you won't have a chance to get what you really want."

She turns to face him. "What would you know about what I want?"

"I saw the look on your face when I took that hood off. You want revenge."

Skye lowers her voice. "You want to kill her?"

He nods.

"So, kill her."

"You can get close, I can't. You'll find a knife under your bed when you return to your room. I've already bought enough of the guards to get you out of here. If you do this, Azgeda will take control of the coalition, and you'll find a strong and grateful ally in the Ice Queen." He speaks.

"Why should I trust her? From what I hear, she's worse than Lexa."

"That's because you've been talking to Lexa. Look, we're all trying to do what's right for our people. This is what's right for yours."

___

Back in her room, she paces and paces.

Then she finally looks under the bed to find a dagger. She holds it in her hand.

The doors begin to open, and she stands facing away from the door.

"You wanted to see me. I'm here." Lexa says from behind her.

She looks down, taking a deep breath.

"Skye."

She whips around, holding the dagger up against Lexa's neck.

Lexa just stares at her, a wave of hurt flashing across her eyes.

Skye's hand quivers as she holds the knife. She can't bring herself to do it.

The Commander's voice is soft as she speaks. "I'm sorry."

Skye shuts her eyes, cursing herself as she drops the knife, walking away from Lexa.

Lexa sighs. "I never meant to turn you into this. You're free to go. Your people are here. I'll have you escorted to them."

She begins to leave when Skye speaks. "Wait. I have a better idea."

___

Skye enters the room quickly.

Bellamy, who was pacing by the window, stops when he sees her.

His eyes water. "Skylar!" He runs to her, picking her up in a strong hug.

She inhales deeply, trying to capture his scent. He's really here. He's okay.

"Bellamy." She smiles against him, tears in her own eyes.

He pulls back just far enough to kiss her.

After a moment, he pulls away to look at her. He pushes a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Are you okay? Did they hurt you?"

"I'm okay." She whispers, leaning her head against his chest with a soft sigh.

"Ahem."

The two separate and they look over at the supplier of the noise.

Kane.

Next to him stands Abby. Next to her, stands Clarke.

Skye gasps. "Clarke."

The two embrace. Abby joins their hug.

After a moment, she pulls away, standing before them.

They look at her expectantly. "I have something to tell you, and we don't have much time. The Commander is changing the terms of the summit."

Kane steps closer. "Is this because of Mount Weather?"

"This is because of the Ice Nation. They want Lexa dead. They want to take over the coalition."

Abby shakes her head. "That's Lexa's concern, not ours."

Kane touches her shoulder. "No, Abby. If Lexa falls, the coalition shatters and there's no way we avoid that war."

Bellamy hasn't taken his eyes off Skye.

He thought that he would never see her again. But here she is. Beautiful as always.

"You said there were new terms." Bellamy mentions.

"We become the 13th clan." Skye says.

They all go silent.

Her mother furrows her brows. "The 13th clan. What does that mean? That we follow Lexa?"

Skye nods. "Yes."

"We came here to negotiate a treaty."

"This is our Unity Day, mom. You can be the 13th station, or you can be the 13th clan."

Abby turns to Kane. "Marcus."

He nods. "Skye is right. I've seen the Ice Nation army. We don't stand a chance against them. We need to do this."

Clarke looks at her sister. "So, we become the 13th clan... then what? What's gonna stop the Ice Nation?"

Skye glances out the window at the slowly setting sun. "Wanheda."
