CHAPTER NINETEEN: CUPCAKE GATHERING

"Will you all stop licking the dough?!" Carolina's voice echoed through the large kitchen startling the three people who looked like a child who was caught stealing a cookie.

Katherine slowly raised her index finger marred with dough, sliding it into her mouth and tightened her lips around her finger sucking it off all while maintaining an innocent look on her face while watching her fuming best friend while Bianca was looking like she had just been caught doing something very bad and will get beaten for it as her large blue eyes almost looked watery while she sucked off her thumb.

Hunter immediately took a big swoop of the dough with his finger and pressing it into his mouth with a small grin on his face earning a small growl and killing glare from Carolina.

"If you dip another finger I promise you I'll cut it off, grill it and force feed it to you." Carolina threatened as Hunter attempted to make another dip.

We all backed up from the dough and tried to avoid Carolina's glare which is very difficult.

"She is so scary." Bianca murmurs as she continued sucking her thumb clean of the dough and watching Carolina

"I know right." Hunter agreed still keeping his eyes on the glaring woman.

"S -She scares me too" Katherine's voice shook as her best friend's look hardens.

"I can hear you." Carolina said before turning her attention to what she was doing.

Kathrine and Hunter knew of Carolina's obsession with the one thing she couldn't do. Carolina turned very mean whenever she was trying to cook or bake. It is a known and resigned fact that Carolina Rodriguez would never have that skill when she managed to burn down the kitchen trying to boil water in college.
    Katherine had invited her friends over to her new home to hangout and they had decided to bake and Katherine had also invited Bianca. Bianca hanged around her bakery and it was obvious she was trying to make friends.

   Ever since Katherine got pregnant she had been prone to eat anything and everything even if at that moment the three licks of dough she just had was starting to make her feel a little sick, Carolina had been annoyed with her friends who were doing little to help and distracting her by licking the dough.

Whenever Carolina tries to cook she took on a new attitude and becomes extremely focused and whatever tried to distract her, so help them.

"We all know who is going to end up baking all of it anyway." Hunter said earning another glare from Carolina.

"She's going to burn this place down Katherine." Hunter added ignoring Carolina's glare, but now that he said thought about it, it didn't sound so bad, he couldn't care less if Carolina's burned down Caspian's huge mansion that was doing an hell of a job intimidating the crap out of him.

"Yeah Lina, I can't have you burning down Caspian's house."

"Well it is also your house isn't it?"

"I still can't have you burning it down." Kathrine was trying her best to hold down the increasing urge to puke. It was a bad idea to lick the dough especially when she was prone to constant morning sickness.

"I can assist you. I'm really good at assisting and I'm a disaster in the kitchen so I'll love to learn." Bianca chimed in.

"Two kitchen disasters? Katherine." Hunter looked at me with half serious panic earning an icy look from both women.

"I'll have you know dummy that I made my self an egg salad yesterday." Carolina said with raised head, squared shoulders and prideful eyes.

"Was it edible?" Hunter asks making Carolina's prideful look falter.
