She looked down at her still flat belly with a smile on her face. She couldn't help it. They had been careful but it just happened. Now that's.

As Katherine opened the door and tiny boy dashed towards her and hugged her leg.

"Momma!" The tiny boy with head full of curls clutched to her leg before looking up at her with his huge grey eyes.

"Damien." She lowered herself to his height.

Then a screech followed, Katherine didn't need to be told who it belonged to. Her daughter had a habit of screaming. Whether she's happy or not, she'll always scream. A tiny girl in  big black hoddie that swallowed all her whole form and looked like a blanket on her struggled to get close to her mother but the hoddie train made it difficult and coming behind her was a big grown man with pink and glittery colorful clips tangled into his hair.

Katherine didn't need to ask what happened. Her daughter happened, that's what. Caspian took his screeching daughter into his arm and walked towards Katherine, pressing a kiss on her lips quickly as Diana was also trying to reach to her mother with her hands or rather what supposed to be her hands as they were covered in over sized sleeve that dropped like a train.

"You gave her your hoddie?"  Katherine raised a brow.

"I put it off because she got glitter in it but she some how found a way to wiggle herself into it. Now that I think about it. She definitely did it on purpose."

Katherine laughed and stretched her hand to remove the hair clips in his hair.

"It seems you guys had a lot of fun." Katherine smiled.

"How was your day?" Caspian asked referring to the cafes she went out to check or rather that was the excuse she gave him.

"Fine." Was the only thing she could mutter and she tried to smile but she wasn't fooling Caspian. He could see eyes and she wasn't really smiling and the subtle sag in her shoulders that happens whenever she was troubled.

"Damian, Diana. Time to clean up. Come on."  Caspian ordered with his authoritative dad voice.

"Nooooo!" They whined but that has never worked on Caspian... often.

One of the helps came to lead the children to their bedroom to get them freshened up and ready for dinner in a few hours after they finally agreed when Katherine promised to come meet them soon.

Caspian turned to Katherine with raised brows and serious look on his face. "Will you tell me what happened?"

"I need a drink." Katherine sighed but she couldn't have a drink could she.
She looked at Caspian through her lashes to see him watching her intensely like he was studying her. After six years of marriage, his look never failed to give her the same butterfly and nervous feelings.

She stretched out the ultrasound picture over to Caspian who looked down at it in confusion before taking it and a surprised look crossed his face.

"You... You- your?" He looked down at her belly.

"Yes Caspian! I'm pregnant!" She ran up the stairs immediately feeling like she'll cry anytime soon and Caspian followed closely behind. Katherine pushed open the door of their bedroom and Caspian shut it behind them.

"Katherine?" He called out and she whirled around to face him with panic evident in her eyes

"I am happy but, twins? Again?" Katherine groaned and buried her face in her hands slumping down to the edge of their bed.

"Well, we definitely weren't planning this." His cool outer demeanor not breaking but Katherine knew him enough to know that wasn't the case on the inside.

He looked at Katherine's slumped figure and joined her at the edge of the bed. He loves his kids and would do anything for them. They were the joy of his life but he couldn't help but remember what Katherine had gone through during childbirth. How much pain and agony she was in. Panic and worry flushed through him.

"Katherine." He took one of her hand away from her face and held her hand in his. She looked at him with teary eyes. "We got this."

A smile crossed her face and tension left her body and she suddenly felt light. The excitement of the whole situation now showing it's head.

"I know we do." She replied and placed her other hand on the hand that was holding onto hers. After a few seconds a big smile took over her facial features.

"We are pregnant!" And she hugged Caspian and he held her too.

"We are pregnant." He repeated. " And I promise Katherine that I'll be with you every step of the way. No matter what."

"I know Caspian. I love you."

"To infinity and beyond." His grip tightened around her and he buried his face into her hair.
