CHAPTER SIXTY-SEVEN: BABY SHOWER AND BABY DELIVERY.

THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Katherine looked around her with a smile on her lips and its reflection expressed in her eyes. Her heart soared with happiness as she looked dumbfounded.
She turned to Carolina and Caspian with the biggest smile of love and gratitude on her face.

"You guys worked together to prepare a baby shower for me?" Katherine's eyes were already glassy with tears and Carolina nodded her head.

"You guys hate each other but you put your differences aside for me?" Katherine knew that she was a few seconds away from breaking down into full tears.

"I'll do anything for you Kathy even if it's working with your infuriating husband. Beside he couldn't have done it without my help."

Katherine sighed. Maybe they didn't put their differences aside after all but they still did this for her.

"Do not forget Miss Rodriquez, that I have resources at my disposal to accomplish a perfect baby shower without you." Caspian said with a cold voice.

"And pray tell." Carolina folded her hand over her chest. "Why didn't you use those resources instead?"

"Your close relationship with Carolina gives you an advantage and since you have the underserved position as the godmother of my children, you might as well work for it." He said with a calm voice while Carolina looked like she'll explode.

"Thank you guys." Katherine immediately cut in to stop further escalations. "I love it." She wrapped her arms around Carolina pulling her into a hug.

"It should be noted that this wouldn't have happened without me. They would have torn each other apart without me." Lincoln said trying to get his deserved praises.

"Thank you Lincoln."

"It's what I should do as the god father. And all I'm doing is assisting my partner, as it should be." Lincoln put his arms around Carolina's shoulders who stiffened at the contact but didn't say anything or move away. Katherine smiled knowingly as she saw progress there. She was glad.

"I helped too!" Bianca came forward cheerfully with a skip in her steps. "I was in charge of the decorations." She motioned to the large sitting room which looked bright and very beautiful in pink and blue and a shade of purple.

"Thank you all for doing this for me." Katherine said appreciatively.

"It's alright Katherine. We didn't do it for the praises but because we wanted to." Miles waved his hands dismissively with a smug smile on his face.

"Really?" Caspian raised a brow. Miles just grinned innocently in return even though he knew that wasn't the case. He had helped Caspian in return for a favor of course.

"I'm not ashamed of it." Miles raised his chin and shurgged his shoulders.

The party began in full swing. Everyone was there but Katherine was greatful that it was more personal and the guest list were people she actually knew and liked but not all... unlike the normal Montgomery party filled with people she who hated her guts. Although there was a little more people than she would have liked, this to her was every bit of perfection.

Even Vivian and Alan were present still engaged and not married. Alan had taken full control of his aunt's estate and spends all he attention on work but not enough not to notice Vivian's exorbitant life style that she was living.

Viviana has been pushing for their marriage and Alan have been pushing back thinking of ways to get out of the engagement. He knew for a fact that if he got married to Viviana she'll drain the life out of him, divorce him and take more than half of everything he owned.
