THEIR PERSON'S POV.

"Three down, four to go." Carolina said as she took a seat opposite the man she would rather stab to death a thousand and ten times with her hair pin.

"Good evening to you too mademoiselle." Lincoln greeted sarcastically but he didn't get a reaction from her. One of the things that infuriates him since they started having dinner together.
He hated it more that she was reminding him at the beginning of their dinner dates how many chances he had left
He couldn't help but wish for more time.

Carolina tried to ignore the looming presence in front of her as much as she could as she scanned the menu. She would rather not if Lincoln had agreed to her suggestion of them dinning in the same restaurant but he has always picked a different one, each with different level of sophistication. She didn't want elegance. All she wanted was good food but the moron in front of her didn't understand this.

Carolina preferred to dine somewhere simple. Yes, it was contrary to her behavior and the way she carries herself. All she needed was to feast on good food, not feast her eyes on elegant architectural styles and sophisticated restaurant design. She only dinned in expensive restaurants for business purposes only.

"If you cannot choose, I would love to be of assistance." Lincoln offered in the most charming voice, a technique he has realized has never worked on her but he would always continue to try.

"I can decide my own meal." She fired back coldly not taking her eyes off of the menu.

Carolina could feel the eyes of both her annoying date and the waiter on her so she just picked the first thing on the menu and requested for water instead of wine. She just wanted this dinner to be over with. She had spent all day having meeting with the company responsible for creating their new delivery app and all she wanted to do now was fall into her bed and sleep forever.

"So, how was your day?"

"None of your business." She shut him down immediately.

Lincoln clenched and unclenched his fist in frustration. He just couldn't reach her. Lincoln knew his charm. He had the looks, the body, the wealth and the Influence. He was never short of options. Everyone loved him; male and female but the only one who intrigues him and fascinates him ignored him. No matter how much he wanted to get close to her, she just keeps pushing him away.

Carolina is an attractive woman no doubt. With beautifully straightened wavy hair, chocolate brown eyes, smooth olive skin and a fiery personality. She's a woman that goes after what she want.
Although everyone loved him, this wouldn't be the first time a woman would not be receptive to him, it was rare but it happens and usually he never cared. But she. She was different. He wanted and yearned for her and craved her and Lincoln knew that yearning wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

The waiter brought them their food and Carolina immediately hated the sight of it. Maybe she should have paid more attention to the menu but she stomached it none the less. After all she could stomach the sight of one of the most disgusting human in the world.

Carolina hated that he knew her weak spot. He had something over her that he could use to his advantage, her weakness, a vulnerability she had even kept a secret from the person who knew her the most and she trusted the most. She would endure him, just for now but she wouldn't forget what he had done and would get him back.

"I was thinking for our next date we would have dinner at my place." Lincoln proposed.

"Good. Keep thinking it, it would never happen."

"Come on. I'm a great cook."

"And I would never know, would I?" She took her sip from her glass of water and focused on her food.

Lincoln surpressed the urge to pull at his hair in ultimate frustration. She was difficult but good thing he was best friends with two of the most difficult individuals in the universe.

"Don't forget you agreed to have seven dinners with me Carolina. Where we would have it is up to me."

Lincoln stilled under her glare. Lincoln was used to glares, it was the most common ways that his friends communicated with him but something about her glare stilled him. Her cold brown eyes that stayed on his face, unmoving and unwavering.
It was like he could hear all the foul curses she was throwing at him in her head.

"Fine." She would agree to it and kill him in his house before dismembering  his entire body then shoving his parts in his refrigerator and maybe leave out his head and stuff it in his closet.

Lincoln was taken aback by the smile on her face as she stared at him. He couldn't help but feel self conscious, something that doesn't happen.

"You seem happy now about the idea." Lincoln was glad that she was smiling. On all their previous dinners, her barely said anything to him, let alone smile at him and she was much more attractive when she smiles.

"I am. It would be more reasonable to dismember you in your apartment." Carolina gave him her best smile.

Lincoln tried to hide his surprise and slight fear at her words and the deadly look in her eyes.

"You are thinking of killing me? And that makes you happy?"

"Not just killing you, dismembering you and making a face mask out of your face. Yes it makes me happy. There's nothing I would love more."

"Well... I'm glad that I can make you happy."

What the fuck. Didn't this idiot just hear me? I did say that I wanted to dismember him right?

Carolina thought incredulously as she looked at the weird man in front of her.

Lincoln was used to threat. It was one of the languages of love between he and his best friends. His best friends were terrifying people. One was a cold cruel business man with resources and influence to do what he wants and the other... Well the other can be said to be one of the most dangerous men on earth.

"You will not leave me alone, will you?"  Carolina almost let out a sigh in resignation because she already knew the answer to that very question.

"Not anytime soon." He said with his charming smile.

"Wipe that annoying smile off your stupid face." Carolina growled at him but it was still there. That stupid self fulfilled smile. Carolina would make sure to wipe it off his stupid face.

The annoying smiling fucker wanted her? Well....
