THIRD PERSON POV.

After Katherine discovered that the young man she had saved years ago was none other than her brother-in-law, she has been so delighted that she was everywhere around him and still trying her very best not to scare him away. She didn't care that few days ago she was very mad at him because of his hate and uncivilized manner towards her.

Carolina had gotten a call from her overjoyed best friend who couldn't keep the happiness out of her voice. Carolina knew who Damon was. After Katherine had met him or rather saved him, Carolina had known how worried she had felt and how scared she was that she pushed him too far.
But unlike Katherine, Carolina felt nothing towards Fredward so she didn't have any emotions clouding her mind.

If Katherine had been the one to save him and he knew that, then why the hell has he been showing her nothing but hate and scorn? Carolina thought.

It's a little ridiculous that he showed her so much hatred just because she didn't recognize him immediately. They had both been young and it was dark that night? Which brought Carolina to her next thought.

They had both been perfect strangers that night, so how did he know who Katherine was immediately till now?

Carolina kept her thoughts to herself. She didn't want to be the one to burst any bubble with her over thinking and ever logical brain. Carolina understood perfectly Katherine's feelings. Damon had been a chapter of her life.

They night was the night she suddenly had to grow up and save a man's life. Saving one's life and taking one's life had the same effect. How it affects you depends on which one you commit. But Katherine had been worried that pushing him to give himself a second chance had not saved him but instead killed him.

"Just give him some space Kathy. Don't go pushing him, okay? Remember just a few days ago he hated you."

"I know. That side of his life must have been a chapter he wants to forget completely and I must remind him of it." Katherine was unhappy about that. That's why she would try to give him space even though she had a million question.

"Ok. That's good. That still doesn't explain why he hates you for not remembering him."

"You're right..." Katherine thought. "It's insane that I've talked to Caspian years before I even met him."

"And dreamt of his voice." Carolina added with a snicker.

"No I didn't." Katherine refused immediately.

"You totally did. You told me about the mysterious voice that thanked you that night."
Katherine could hear the silent laugh in Carolina's voice and she couldn't stand her tease.

"Why about Lincoln? You guys done with your dates?" Katherine wiggled her brows even though she was well aware that Carolina couldn't see her.

"Shut up."

"I still don't get how he got you to go out with him for how long again?" Katherine teased but she really did wonder how. She could have bet on her grandmother's cook book that Carolina would never go out with Lincoln for two seconds let alone dates.

"I must have underestimated how good Lincoln is then." Katherine loved to tease Carolina, mostly because it's Carolina who does the teasing everytime.

"Yeah, yeah." Carolina laughed awkwardly. Katherine didn't catch on to the uneasiness in her voice. Carolina hoped Katherine never knows how Lincoln got her to go on dates with him.

"Aren't you supposed to be sick? You're too chatty for someone who's supposed to be vomiting out their guts."

" It usually happens in the morning". Katherine rolled her eyes. "And besides I'm getting better. The doctor's right. I'm getting less and less of them now. I'll be coming back to work soon and you'll finally see me after missing for so long." She was only out of work for three days.
