THIRD PERSON POV.

Caspian could not hear what the man in front of him was rambling on about. He might be in the room full of executives but his mind was back to his wife in his office.

The corner of his lips unknowingly rose up at the thought of how Kathrine came to his office this morning. He had to admit that he wasn't expecting her after what happened to her a week ago, he had thought she would stay away from his building, at least for a period of time.

He knew she was angry that she couldn't work and he couldn't help but laugh at her childish antiques to annoy him. He had honestly got less work done this morning than be had done in his Life. She was everywhere in his office, touching everything. Normally or rather usually that should have angered the hell out of him but he couldn't help but watch her scurry around in his office.

The other executives that sat in the meeting suddenly stilled at the sight of the small smile on Caspian's face. A smile on Caspian's face was never good, it was ironic as they come. The young man in his early thirties suddenly stopped his presentation trying to discern what he had done wrong. His pleading eyes went to Yuvraj's, who looked at his boss with raised brows.

Yuvraj didn't think his boss was angry. The side of his lips were not tight and the muscles in his jaw area had not moved to indicate him clenching his jaw very hard.
Caspian noticing that the room had gone still raises his brows high in question and Yuvraj indicated for the man to continue his presentation which he did after clearing his throat and a few seconds of stuttering.

Caspian tapped his finger against his temple slowly. He didn't know why the curiosity to know what his wife was up to was eating at him. He was never interested in what anyone did but he wanted to know what Katherine was doing. What was going on in her mind. He was curious about every layer of her.

He picked his phone and opened the app. He could see everything that was going on in his office. At first he was confused what his wife was doing but he put in one airpod in his ear and what he heard shocked him to the core.

CASPIAN'S OFFICE.

Kathrine stood up from the couch looking around carefully and wondered how Caspian behaved in his office.
The man was bossy. He took control of his environment and even the people around him. He said what he wanted and couldn't care about how the other person feels, Katherine knew that well but what would it be like to act like Caspian?

Katherine walked to the glass wall that over looked the city. She tried to search her brain for a particular stance. Then she cleared her throat, then folded her hands behind her. She turned her expression serious and strained her look to feel serious.

"You must do exactly as I tell you." Kathrine started in a fake deep voice.

"That's not it." She told herself. Caspian's voice was not intimidating because of how hard or deep his voice is. It was because of the calm in his voice. One could hear the underlying storm behind his words. Hearing his voice was like ice growing under one's skin.

"You." She tried again. She shook her head not getting it right yet.

"You." She said slowly and a giggle left her mouth. She was close enough.

"You would listen to me." A laugh burst out of her mouth as she did.

Katherine then squared her shoulder.
"Yuvraj. Take them away." She ordered. Then she remembered that Caspian and Yuvraj seemed to have some telepathic connection.

"Yuvraj." Then she nodded her head.

She squinted her eyes like she was looking at the city in a meaningful manner.

"I'm Caspian Montgomery. The world belongs to me." Then she stretched her hands. "The people of this world are my subject. Hahaha." She mimicked at evil laugh.

An evil laugh was not quite Caspian. She has heard him laugh but not an evil laugh.
She turned away from the glass wall and her attention went to his large chair. She contemplated her next action for a few minutes in her head before throwing caution to the wind.
He won't know anyways. She thought.

She went to his large chair and warmth settled inside her as she was surrounded in his scent. The chair practically swallowed her as it was way too big for her.

She adjusted herself then leaned towards the table.

"I'm Caspian. I can ruin you. If I want to." She leaned back slowly like she owned the world. "So tell me. Would you follow me like a loyal servant?" She squinted her eyes at the invisible person she was talking to.

The rest of her mimick went from imitating Caspian ordering for them to bring him things, to asking for his enemies head on a golden tray.

Kathrine leaned into the chair as she was slowly getting tired. Who knew that trying to act like Caspian could be so exhausting.

"I'm Caspian. A reincarnation of Dracula. I've come to suck your blood. Blah Blah Blah." Katherine laughed at herself as she tired to imagine Caspian saying that.

CASPIAN'S MEETING ROOM.

Nothing had amused Caspian more than what he was watching on his phone. He couldn't notice the smile fhar widen in his face as he thought about how his wife thought of him.

A Vampire?

Now that was new. No one had ever called him that. No one can call him that.
He looked down at his phone again and could see that she had made herself comfortable in his chair that was bigger than her and played with the items on his desk.

For some reason the meeting seemed to be dragging on and on than usual. He looked at the room, at the faces of the the executives that sat around the table. He would choose his wife over them anytime.

"Let's do this another time." Caspian said and stood up the people in the room standing up with him and he left walking out of the conference room.

When Caspian got to his office, Kathrine was already cozied up in his chair. Her eyes were closed and her chest moved up and down slowly in rhythm.
Caspian couldn't help the smile that made his way to his lips again. Unknown to the man staring at his wife, he had genuinely smiled so many times today because of her. That was new

His Katherine was certainly different.
