Tomorrow

As I made my way down the corridor back to my room I heard a familiar voice call my name, causing me to turn around "Wren, can I talk to you in my office for a second?" Price called out as he approached me, I nodded reluctantly and he began to walk off in the direction of his office. I followed close behind him as we stepped into his office, he took a seat in his chair before gesturing for me to close his down and sit down in the other chair by his desk which I did immediately. My hood was still up in order to cover my neck and I was fiddling with my fingers, nervous as I was unaware of why he needed to speak to me. "So, we have a mission" he said as he gave me a small smile. "Tomorrow?" I said in response, I didn't really mean to say it, it was more of a reflex than anything. Yet he seemed to smirk when he heard my response and shook his head slightly, letting out a small silent chuckle.

"I felt you knew this.." he paused as I looked up into my eyes "Ghost wasn't the only person in his room, was he?" when I heard him say that I began to silently panic in my head but tried to seem composed. He seemed to chuckle again and smiled warmly. "Don't worry, I won't tell the others, just wanted to confirm my suspicions" He said as he smirked slightly. I nodded slightly as I looked down. He gave me a small nod of understanding before getting up. "We'll anyway, we'll be discussing the groups for tomorrow this evening and If you have any issues come to me, you know where my room is." He whispered in my ear as he leaned close to me and gave me a small hug before leaving.

I sat there silent for a few minutes before getting up and leaving back to my room. I entered and sat down on my bed, my head hurting like hell and my body exhausted from my hangover. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep again and for time to move quickly. I slept soundly until my deep sleep was broken by a gentle shake to my shoulder. I opened my eyes slightly and rolled over so that I could see who was there, it was Ghost. We both smiled when our gazes met but I kinda wished he had left me to sleep as I was still really tired. "You ok love? Alejandro said ye drank way to much last night and he wanted me to make sure you were ok" I looked up at him as if knowing that he wasn't finished talking "I also just wanted to see you" he said softly, almost a whisper.

He lied down next to me and hugged me tightly, his arms wrapping around my waist and his head rested on my shoulder. He brushed one of his hands through my hair as I began to speak "Price knows I was in your room last night.." I mumbled quietly "I know, but I trust him. And he promised me that he wouldn't tell the others" he said back quieter as he looked into my eyes. He was still wearing his balaclava so all I could see were his eyes, but I could tell that his focus was on me and nothing else. I moved my hand to his face and pulled up the lower part of his balaclava to reveal his mouth. I leaned in closer to him before kissing him softly. He closed his eyes as his hand moved behind my head, holding out faces together.

Suddenly both Ghost's and my phones buzzed from a notification causing us to pull back from eachother. We both checked, messages from Price "meeting for a mission tomorrow in 5 minutes, meet in the meeting room" read the text. Ghost sighed as he got up, holding my hand firmly and pulling me up with him as he fixed his balaclava. "Looks like we'll have to finish this another time" he said as he looked down into my eyes "I'd say you better get changed" he said as he gave me a small hug before saying bye and leaving. I washed my face and put on a hoodie and some khaki cargos before leaving my room.

As I entered the meeting room Price, Alejandro and Ghost were already there waiting for me and the others. I took a seat between Ghost and Price as the others trailed in not to long after me. Once all of us were in and sitting down Price began the meeting "alright lads, we have a mission tomorrow at station echo. We'll meet at the helicopter pad at 3am and if all goes to plan we'll be there at 3:30am. The teams for this mission are as follows. Team 1: König, myself and Gaz. Team 2: Alejandro, Rudy and Valeria. Valeria is going to help us with the mission, she'll meet us there. And Team 3: Ghost, Soap and Wren. See ye tomorrow, I'd say sleep now and be well rested for the morning." Price stated as he looked around the table at all of us. "Any issues?" He followed up his statement with as he leaned back in his chair, we all shook our heads in response. "Grand so, yer free to go" he finished the meeting with.

Hmm, another girl. That'll be nice I suppose. As I was walking back to my room I felt a arm wrap around my shoulders tightly, I turned my head to see who it was immediately. It was Soap, smiling brightly. "Looks like we'll be working together lass" he said cheerfully as he patted my shoulder, I nodded and smiled back before he went down another corridor to his room. I just carried on to my room as I was tired and wanted/needed energy for tomorrow.
