I don't think I've ever driven so cautiously, not even when I was commissioned on the frontlines and was transporting supplies across deserts dotted with mines. I didn't say a word while I drove but I could hear the others speaking yet they kept their voices low. I felt embarrassed. I had just made a total fool of myself, in front of them, in front of him, in front of Simon. Finally though Soap broke the awkward silence barrier between me and the others.

"Do we have music here?" He said as he leaned forward, through the gap between Ghost's and my own seat before beginning to mess with the radio. It was a struggle to hold back my laugh and keep my focus on the road while a Scottish man struggled with a car's radio and his hands were to big to turn the dials. I could tell that he was getting annoyed and disappointed by the fact the he could barely use the thing and whenever he got it working he got country music. Simon and Alejandro were trying to get him to stop and just sit back down since every few seconds I heard a angry comment from Ghost which was followed by him trying to shove Soap back through the little crawl space from where he emerged from and then just a long string of Spanish insults and curses from Alejandro. "Fuck sake John!" Simon yelled, his hands gripped on Soaps shoulders no as he forced a defeated Johnny back to his seat. Soap gave me a over exaggerated sulky frown through the rear view mirror. I let out a sigh before throwing my phone into the back where it landed on his lap, making Alejandro give me a questioning look to try to figure why I had done that. "My phones connect to the Bluetooth, play some music." I spoke.

I have never seen a frown be replaced by a bright smile before so quickly ever in my life. He happily picked up the phone and began to struggle with the password before guessing it right somehow. "Your putting a lot of trust in him with your phone..." Ghost warned, his eyes glued to my phone that was now in Soap's hands. "Why? Does she have pics of you that you don't want me seein', l.t?" Soap asked with a devilish smirk on his face, but Simons tone remained unamused. "Just don't do anything stupid"

At full volume, Seven Nation Army started blasting. Alejandro gave Soap the dirtiest glare ever. "No, no, hermano. Esta canción no es" (no, no, brother. Not this song) Alejandro groaned, his hand immediately lunging for the phone to grab it out of Soaps hand but Soap was quicker and unbuckled his seat belt to jump away. "Johnny! Put on your fuckin' belt!!" Simon yelled angrily, his British accent growing thick with anger as his head shot around, almost as it the sound of a belt being undone triggered him. Just to spite everyone, I thought to myself 'what if I went off road?". It was all going to shit in a funny way anyway to why not add to the chaos. When I heard Alejandro's belt also undo I decided it was my time to strike. My foot slammed down into the accelerate and the car lunged forward violently as it sped on, Price's car now seemed to be nearing from in front but of us at a quickening pace. "y/n what the fock?!" Simon screeched, his voice barely understandable through his accent as one of his hands gripped the grab handle above the car door and the other clung onto my thigh tightly, his knuckles turning white from how tight his grip truly was. He was definitely going to leave a bruise on my thigh.

I quickly turned the car off the road and onto the side, slowing to the pace that Price was at. I grabbed Simons hand guided it over to the wheel which he clung onto tightly, holding it in the place that I had left it which was exactly what I had intended to happen. I looked into the back and god knows how but Alejandro was sprawled across the floor of the back and Soap was curled up in the boot, neither with belts on I should mention. I moved over a nervous Simon and opened his window before signalling to Price to roll down his. He gave me a terrified but angry look,  rolling down his window cautiously. "Up for a race old man?" I asked purposefully cockily with a bright, taunting smirk on my face. "I'd say no but I know you'll take it as a yes. Your going down." Were the only words I caught before he sped off. Thank god it was a country road literally in the middle of a desert aswell as in the middle of night or else we would have been in trouble, but we weren't in trouble, so it was fine. I slithered back down into the drivers seat and clutched the steering wheel which prompted Simon to release it, happily.
