If I said a hated Graves, that would be an understatement. Being near or even around him made me want to strangle him with my bare hands. For the next day or two, I'm not too sure since I lost track of time after I had first ended up in this hell, he treated me like punching bag. Nothing more than a object to flirt with and ask stupid, strange questions that I usually didn't even understand. My new misery was lonely, the only face I saw more than once was Graves yet I longed to see one of their faces, anyone of 141's faces. Just to know they were there for me... by now I would have thought my team would recognise my disappearance, yet then again I couldn't see what contact was being made with my team between that American swine, Graves.
I sat there, drifting in and out of consciousness, still restrained and tied to the chair, in that cold dark empty room. My eyes sealed shut with dried blood and My head drooped down with my chin pressed against chest, also secured there by dried blood that had dripped down my face from my wounds. If anyone had seen me in this state they probably would have thought I was dead, honestly they wouldn't have been far off. I knew myself that I wouldn't last much longer in this environment and with this treatment if it continued. I was resilient, but even I knew I wasn't this resilient.I felt my consciousness slipping away as I let out a sigh and prepared for this restless nap that I was all to used to after my last few hours.
"Price, this isn't funny. Where is she, she should be back by now." Ghost said sternly as his hands wrapped around the edge of the table, his knuckles going white and red from the pressure and almost breaking the part he was holding. Price let out a sigh as he looked back up at him, Alejandro and Soap both watching him closely as they too awaited his response. "I tried contacting Graves but I got no responses, luckily though a Shadow tipped us off that Graves wasn't planning on giving her back anytime soon." Price said, slightly quieter than his usual voice. Soaps eyes widened slightly when he heard this "what?! Shur he can't do that!" Soap yelled, his accent thickening as his normal softness got embedded beneath his new found anger. "Price." Ghost spoke again, this time his voice was more of a warning than anything. Almost nothing scared Price yet Simon seemed to be at his level, enough to let him know that when he spoke he meant business.
Price simply shook his head in response but moved forward, placing his hands on the table and looking out at the team in front of him. They all seemed to be in an angry or worried state as they all looked back at him. "Right, listen. We are taking back our lieutenant. Your securing her safety in our hands.. and we are killing commander Graves." Price announced sternly, it was obvious he wasn't bullshiting and that he wanted no messing. Rudy looked around at the others before speaking "when?" "Now." Replied Price instantly. "This is a fight for our own. We're a team, task force 141, and that team includes y/n."
"Kit up." Price said as he leaned off the table, giving a nod as he looked back around at all of them which they all returned the nod except Ghost. All of them quickly left and began to kit up yet Simon stayed. "She didn't want to take on that mission. But you made her, and look where she is now..." Simon said lowly as he shook his head in disapproval and disappointment towards Price, his sharp gaze cutting through the harsh and cold atmosphere in the room like a obsidian arrow. Price was about to respond before Simon could go too but decided not to and that it would be better to just stay quiet and leave these matters for after they knew y/n was safe, but until then she was their first and only priority.
They had never gotten ready for a emergency mission so quickly, all of them were kitted in less than five minutes which probably could have set a word record but none cared how long or short they took, all they cared was that they were kitted and ready to fight. Price knew a lot of things but this time he seemed to know the most important piece to the puzzle of finding and securing y/n, that time was of the essence. As he himself kitted quickly and loaded the team into the helicopter, he lit a cigar. Inhaling it deeply and allowing the tobacco smoke to simmer in his lungs before releasing it, honestly no one really knew how Price was in such good shape considering that he smoked almost everyday. Possibly one of the seven wonders of the world. Price took another deep drag before stepping in himself last and shutting the door tightly behind him, taking a seat in the front next to the pilot he had found last minute, calling them up last second as he knew they were reliable since they were a old friend of his who had worked with him in the past. "Where to?" The pilot asked as he reved up the engine, turning the key and listening to the propellers overhead swoop in circles as they gathered speed. Price glanced out this window as the helicopter gently rose to the air. "The Shadow Company."
