I woke up only a few minutes later, his arm around my shoulder and holding me close to him. I smiled slightly as I opened my eyes, the sun was pretty much fully up at this point and I could hear some birds chirping near by. "What time is it?" I asked quietly as I pulled back slightly and looked into his eyes. "Almost 8" he responded with as he just pulled me back to him. I groaned slightly, I was tired and, I did love him... but I loved my bed more.

"I'm going to go back now and have a nap I think.." I said quietly as I began to get up, he nodded and smiled back as he got up aswell and we went back inside. Price and Alejandro were in the living room watching the television but Price's focus quickly diverted to me once I entered the room. "Ah, y/n! Just the person i was meaning to talk to" he said happily as he stood up and walked over to me, causing both Ghost and i to stop in our tracks and look back at him. I gave him a slight confused look wondering why he'd want to talk to me "if your free now, would you mind we go to my office as it's a bit more private than here?" He said as he nodded his head slightly in the direction of the hallway that led to his office. I glanced back over to Ghost and he gave me a nod of approval before walking away and back to his room, leaving me and Price to go to his office. I walked alongside Price until we finally reached his office where he held open the door for me to enter before entering himself and locking the door behind us, as soon as I heard the door lock my guard went up and I began to dislike the new position I found myself in.

"I hope you don't mind me taking to you now, I am aware that everyone must me tired after the mission but I needed to get this covered" he said as he sat down in his chair behind his desk and gestured for me to sit down in the chair in front of him which I did hesitantly. "The reason I needs to talk to you is because I am aware that even in the almost three weeks you've been here you have impressed everyone and ranked yourself very highly in the grand scheme of things.." he paused as he looked at me, seemingly leaning ever so slightly closer aswell "because of that.. you have been requested for a mission with another team that I am familiar with..." what the fuck?? Another team? "Their called The Shadow Company."

"Sir, there seems to be a misunderstanding-" I said quickly trying to explain that I was happy here and really didn't want to leave since I had begun to comfortably refer to all the members of task force 141 as my friends yet he cut me off before I could continue "hey.. I know, but don't worry it's only going to be for three days at most. It's just that they wanted a very well trained soldier who could hit long shots aswell as close contact.. and it just so happened you fitted that request best" he said back as he leaned back in his chair. I stayed silent. I knew there was no point in arguing with him, his rank was higher, if I kept arguing I'd pretty much just be digging my own grave and trust me. That's never a good thing. I nodded silently and let out a small sigh "when do I leave.." I said quietly as I stared up into his eyes and saw a small smile appear on his face. "That's the spirit! They'll send a helicopter here for you in two days for you, don't pack to much as this is only for a mission, no causal interaction." He said as he stood up and walked over to me, standing behind me and patting my shoulder.

I nodded and closed my eyes, half trying to take in and understand what I had just gotten myself into, and the other half trying to block out what I had just gotten myself into. "May I be excused, sir?" He nodded and I got up and saluted him before leaving for my room. I had never been that formal with him and it seemed he noticed it aswell. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad.. hopefully. No offence to them but i didn't trust them, i hadn't even met them or talked to them before but I just had this weird feeling in me. Why would they want the new one? What did I actually have that they were looking for? Oh well, nothing I could do now. I had signed myself up for this, now I had to face this.

I finally got to my room and went straight in, locking the door behind me before collapsing on my bed and just laying there, just thinking. I trusted Price and knew, well, thought he always knew best for everyone, including me. Yet here I was, doubting him and his thoughts. I just had a bad feeling about this mission but the more I thought about it, the more I chalked it up to just being from the fact that I was probably still tense from the mission since it hadn't even been 12 hours since it and i hadn't actually rested apart from when I was in Ghost's arms but you could hardly call that a rest. I really needed to sort out my sleep schedule. Oh well, I'll just do that when I have the energy for it. But now? Now I'll just be asleep, here in my own room, sleeping, on my own.
