As König pulled me into somewhat of an awkward hug since he wanted to hug me but not to hurt me and Ghost placed his hands on my waist so I wouldn't slip off of them and onto the floor. His hands were warm and comforting, he held onto me tightly but not tight enough to hurt. My shoulder still hurt like hell but it was nice to feel this warmth and comfort, especially from Ghost and König of all people.

Before I knew it we had landed at base and we had to leave the helicopter. Ghost held my waist while König held my back for support so my shoulder wouldn't have any unnecessary pressure applied to it. They gently carried me off to where Price was waiting for me. "Thanks lads for keeping her safe on the trip over here" he said as he nodded at Ghost and König before holding his arms out. they moved over to him slightly and placed me in his arms where he held me tightly. "C-can we go with h-her?" König asked as he rubbed my cheek gently. "Sadly not boys but you can visit her while she's recovering." Price said as Ghost placed his hand on König's shoulder, indicating that they should go back to their quarters which König reluctantly agreed to.

While Price was carrying me to the med bay he began to speak "you were actually great today, kid. But please don't risk yourself getting injured, we need you. And even though we've only had you for 3 days, it seems that all of us have grown fond and have become attached to you" he said softly as he laid me down on a medical bed. "All we have is each-other and each-others thrust, and you seem to have already won both" he said with a smirk as he patted my head before leaving me alone with the doctor who rushed me into surgery to remove the bullet from my wound. The doctor said I'd have to isolate for around three days but after that I could go back to living normally since the bullet hadn't damaged any muscles or nerves in my shoulder and had only slightly teared the tissue but he did say it wound leave a fairly big scar from the size of the wound, but apart from that he said I'd be fine. I did as he said and isolate but as soon as the three days were up I went straight back to my room and layed down in my bed.

After returning only 2 minutes after laying down Ghost entered my room, he didn't even knock but honestly I didn't care since I wanted to see him again. As soon as he saw me he almost ran over and hugged me tightly, holding he close to his chest. I was still laying on my bed when he hugged me so he kind of layed next to me and rubbed my back gently as we hugged. "I missed you, kid" he said as he pulled back slightly and looked into my eyes. Suddenly before either of us could react there was a knock on the door and Price walked in, his expression changed to shock when he saw us but he quickly turned away "shit- uh sorry I should have waited for you to say I could come in-" he said as I quickly sat upright and got off the bed. "Captain it's not what it looks like" Ghost said as he too got up and walked over to the door before giving me a small wave goodbye and leaving.

Price looked over as Ghost closed the door behind him and then looked back at me. "First time iv ever seen Ghost take an interest to someone" Price said as he walked over to me and held out my balaclava that Ghost gave me before the mission "here, König gave it to me before we came back here. He said he thought you'd still want it, blood soaked or not" he said as he chuckled to himself. "Thanks Captain" I said as I held the balaclava in my hand tightly and looked down at it. "Where are the others?" I asked as I looked back up at him. "Living room. I better get going though, I have some work waiting for me in my office" me said as he held out his hands, I nodded and face him a small hug which he returned happily before leaving.I placed the balaclava on my bed before putting on a hoodie over the tank-top I was wearing and leaving my room.

I walked into the living room where Soap, König, Alejandro and another guy were sitting chatting. König was first to get up when he saw me and quickly gestured for me to come over and sit next to him and Soap which I did. "Y/n! Your back!" He said happily as he hugged me once I sat down "yeah, I guess so" I said as I looked up at him and then over to Alejandro and the other guy I didn't recognise. I gave him a slightly confused look and it seemed they noticed because Alejandro immediately introduced him to me. His name was Rudy and Alejandro and him were training in the military together in Mexico before coming here. I gave him a slight smile before him and Alejandro began to chat in Spanish with eachother again. "That was a fairly quick recovery, Wren" Soap said as he smiled at me "yeah, the doctor said there wasn't any real damage apart from the wound and the blood loss" I said as I nodded and smiled back at him. "I saw the big guy leaving your room a few minutes ago, what was he doing in your room?" He asked with a big smirk on his face "we were just chatting, nothing more" as said as I looked away from him slightly.
