Soap gave me a look that was as sorry as anything I could imagine. "Well.. either way we're going to the pub again, and both of ye are invited" he said as the look faded, his body leaning against the door frame as his gaze moved upwards towards Simon. He have Simon a glance as if asking if we could go and he gave me a reluctant nod. "How long until we leave?" I asked as a small smirk appeared on the corner of my mouth. "Maybe 30 minutes?" He said after he hummed for a moment, thinking. "See you then" I said with a wink as I walked past them, leaving the two in the room on their own. I debated in my head as I walked weather I wanted to go out comfortably like I had done last time or if I wanted to dress up and maybe surprise them? "Maybe I'll try to look nice" I thought to myself as I entered my room, quickly closing the door behind me before running over to my wardrobe and looking through it. I didn't expect myself to have much as when I packed I packed for the military rather than for a night out.

Yet to my surprise, I was greeted with a black strappy dress that I had completed forgotten i even had. Where did it come from? Not a clue. But was it cute? Definitely. I smiled to myself as I held it to my body, looking in the mirror as it fell perfectly against my silhouette. "Perfect" i purred to myself as I began to get changed. The dress fitted a little tighter than I had hoped but it wasn't visible so I figured it to be ok. I debated weather to put my heart up or leave it down, eventually choosing down.

As i clambered to grab a handbag before I left my room I got distracted by a piece of paper on the ground, easy way to say I'm easily distracted. I put the bag around my shoulder as i crouched down to pic up the mildly crinkled piece of paper. My heart missed a beat as I realised what it was, the note from König. Even though it was over a month ago it still stuck onto me like a wet rag, not letter go and not letting me forget. At least now I was pretty certain that he had understood that Simon and I were together but I felt bag for never fully or properly communicating that with him. I let out a small sigh as I whispered "I'm sorry.." before I got up and left my room, making sure to lock the door behind me.

I quickly walked down the corridor as I glanced at my phone to see that it was almost time to go, pulling down the back of my dress after every few steps since I could feel it slowly riding up my legs even though it was already shorter than my thigh. Once I finally reached the sitting room where the others were waiting; Gaz lying across the couch, Soap sitting on the edge of the coffee table on his phone, Price leaning against the door frame and the others standing just around the room. I could see Soaps bright smile beam up at me as he looked up from his phone to see me. Price's head turning to my direction and giving me a small look up and down followed by a slightly questioning look with a smirk that eventually giving me a warm smile, which I returned happily. They all gave me a smile except Simon, his eyes seemed to be glued to my body, watching me closely. I ignored it and just redirected my eyes to Alejandro and Rudy who were sitting next to eachother. "Ready, Mejor Amiga?" Alejandro asked as he twirled the keys around on his finger, a smirk pulling on the edge of his mouth. I smirked back and he threw the keys to me, I caught it in once swift motion and looked to Price for the go ahead which he gave with a small nod of his head.

"She is not driving.. right?" Rudy asked with visible fear in his eyes. "She's a good driver when she wants to be" was Prices only response before he led us out to the cars, well they were more jeeps if were being realistic. As we approached the cars I could feel Ghost's eyes lingering on my back, probably because it was a backless dress but still it somehow made me a little flustered. "shotgun.." I heard that low mumble escape his mouth as we reached the car, making a small smile appear on my face by seeing that beneath that mask there was a bit of humour. "Wren, assemble your group" Price said as he leaned against his car door, playing with the mini Swiss Army knife Keyring on his keys while he spoke. I looked over at the task force and chose the people who were looking at me; Simon, Alejandro and Johnny. "Ghost, Soap and Alejandro, your with me" I said as they all flashed me a smile, stepping closer to my jeep in doing so.

Just as I climbed into the drivers seat I watched Soap place his hand on the passenger seat door handle and was about to open it, when a larger hand moved down and grabbed his wrist, stopping him. "I called shotgun mate." Simons voice said sternly yet also softly which made Soap quickly and quietly move his hand away from the handle before clambering into the back seat next to Alejandro, letting out a sarcastic huff as he did his seat belt. Simon climbed in the passenger seat, hitting his head on the cars frame as he got in which called me to let out a laugh. In return I got a playful slap to the back of my head. "Shut up" I heard his voice say, the fact that he was holding back a laugh aswell almost audible.
