Chapter 19: Don't Get Involved

Hailee Pov

Wait did I hear that right? Told me what? What does Taylor know that I don't?

My thoughts are broken when the door opens, the three of them coming out of the room.

"Hailee are you ok?" I hear Lupe say as I feel her arms wrapping around me, I slowly nodding my head as I look over at her.

"Have you told me what?" I ask as I look at both her and Taylor, before seeing Mav handing Lupe the water.

"Take a sip." She says looking at the other two, Taylor slightly nodding at her.

"Taylor decided to let my production company film her next video." She says looking over at Taylor who is still nodding with agreement. "I've seen some of the videos that they've been producing."

"Plus I wanted to apologize about Joe and his behavior. He usually never gets this drunk... he just stresses in new situations. I am sorry.. I know I keep apologizing and making excuses for it. I mean that's usually that is what WT always seems to tell me... and now I am babbling." She says definitely rambling the last part.

I shake my head I've never seen her ramble so much, I guess it must have been the fact that it was a much bigger deal then most thought.

I mean I always thought he was a decent guy, I mean from what everyone writes about him.

"Where is WT anyways?" I ask as I look around  "Running behind like usual, they had this situation that they were dealing with." Mav says shrugging their shoulders. 

"They really can't ever let anyone else deal with it." Taylor said shaking her head. "Come with me Hailee, I need a drink."

"Alright" I say as I reach for Lupes hand, she taking it smiling. "Hey Lupe can we talk about that idea I had right quick, maybe starting the video in the studio or something." Mav says as I feel Taylor slightly tug on my arm.

"Yeah sure no problem." She says looking at them, before turning towards me, "I'll be out there in a bit."

"I'll be waiting" I say leaning into her as she squeezes my hand three times, Taylor slightly coughing looking at the two of us.

"You better go someone seems super impatient." She says kissing my cheek as we finally go to rejoin the party.

Taylor going of course for her old fashion, "Sorry WT got me started on this years ago." She says as we listen to the songs playing.

When I see Lizzie and Scarlett heading in our direction, "hey I didn't know y'all would be here." I say hugging the two of them. Noticing Taylors and Lizzies slight stare down.

"Taylor." Lizzie says as she hugs her, "Lizzie" Taylor saying as she hugs her back.

I look at Scarlett who who shrugs her shoulders shaking her head. "Don't get involved." She whispers to me.

I nod my head as the two whisper towards each other finally smiling at one another.

"I wonder where Lupe is?" I murmur to myself, when we see Mav come up on the stage.

"How is everyone tonight?" They say as they catch my eyes quickly pointing to the balcony, I smile once I see her, quickly turning my head back towards the stage.

Everyone screaming around me, "So this has been a long time coming for WT and I. We've always wanted to do something like this since we were 15/16 years old. We have worked with so many people that have meant the absolute most to us. With that being said we want to thank y'all for coming out and hanging with us. I believe that WT should be coming out soon, ahh and there they are." Maverick says cheering as we WT joining them.
