Lupe's text was constantly in my thoughts as I stared at my phone, I mean the last thing that she had planned for that date was her brothers wedding. But with everything that had happen there really shouldn't have been anything going on apart from the party that Taylor and I had been planning for her birthday.

I honestly didn't know what to say at that point, I mean I know that we aren't together but still know that there was something more than something between us. Before I could even answer I received another text from her..

"Is everything ok Hailee?" The three almost seemed to ask in unison as I finally looked up from my phone as I just nodded my head.

"They just want to talk about something." I told them as the three of them just nodded their heads before going back to eat.

My thoughts were definitely on the fact that she wanted to talk, I mean it can't be that bad right? Honestly for the most part this whole day seemed to go by slower and slower the more that I couldn't seem to get whatever it was off of my mind. 

I was honestly grateful when Aleena had finally called it a day and I could finally figure out what in the world was going on. I think by that point everyone else could see that I was entirely ready to head back to the apartment.

By the time I finally made it inside I made sure to take a quick shower before finally calling up Lupe on FaceTime, by the time she answered I could see a wide smile coming across the screen.

"Hey Steinfeld." She said as soon as she finally realize that it had connected the call.

"Hey.. so are you finally going to tell me what the hell is going on? And where are you babe?" I ask as I tried to figure out her settings.

"Welp I am back in Texas. So I just found out I am going to be an aunt." She said with a huge smile coming across her face once again.

"Wait your youngest brother and his wife is having a baby?" I ask trying to figure out if that is why she flew back into Texas.

"Not exactly." She said as I watch her make her way into a different room my brows furrowing before I said "I am confused was Art seeing someone or something?"

"Yes." She said as I watch her enter her room, the house that they had in Texas was huge. Mav had their side of the house while Lupe had the other side, those two had lived with each other so long that they had thought it was a good idea to have one huge house together.

The outside had a wrap around porch with swings, rocking chairs and tables set underneath. The time that I got to go down there for a bit, she didn't get to fully show me all over the property and she and Mav were recently getting even more land out there.

"Babe, you still there." I finally hear her ask as I turn my head back towards the phone.

"Sorry, Babe what were you saying? I got lost in thought." I tell her as a smile comes once again across her face.
