Chapter 23: What Ifs

"I still can't believe that we get to actually work on Taylors music video." Trevor said smiling as we finished packing the truck I had bought a few years back.

This man had passed away leaving his son his truck and he couldn't take it with him. It was an amazing deal that I just couldn't pass on, although Taylor thought I was crazy for buying it. Although that didn't mean she didn't go with me, and anytime she was around that she would make sure to drive it anytime she could.

Most of what I had to do was get it repainted, plus it was a reminder of my mom who was born the same year.

"Still can't believe you were able to borrow this beauty." Lucky said as he loaded one of the last few boxes.

"Just gotta know people." I said as I went back inside, seeing Queen half dragging herself around.

"Late Night?" I said slightly smirking as her middle finger completely shot up.

"Don't even start, the only reason you aren't even tired is because Hailee isn't even in town." She said as she put my bag on the table.

"Well she has the whole Met Gala thing coming up, so fittings and all of that coming up." I said as I glanced at my phone it was currently 5am.

"It's barely 8am over there, honestly they probably have her running completely around."
Queen said as she saw me check my phone for the who knows how many times.

"But I do believe that we have everything packed and ready to go." I said checking my phone one more time

"Y'know Lupe I still can't believe Taylor is actually giving us a chance to shoot this video. I mean I know Trevor has been going on and on about it for a while, I mean it's definitely gonna be so gay." She said as we walked towards our designated work space.

"I mean she has seen our work.... But y'all did get the extra people hired to help with production and camera work right? You should see who she got to be in the video though.."

"I mean I get that, it's so crazy that she has, yes we got them hired the other day. I mean the way that we are going we will pretty soon be growing out of this house." she says as we look around the room grabbing the rest of the papers we might need. "Wait who did she get?"

"I know I have some thoughts about that, I did think about getting our own work space and I may have a place that Maverick suggested. I mean Mav and WT want to invest into this company... They want to make it apart of Esprit de Corps management." I said as I watch her mouth drop. "And to the other question you will see when we get there."

"You are kidding me right? I mean we basically started this out of your room and it just seems like wow. Fine."

"Not kidding you, I mean we've done great work and we are finally starting to work on some YouTube series. I mean y'all are the one who helps me keep up with streaming and posting. In all honesty I feel like I am living multiple lives you know?"

"I know I know I am just so excited, besides that just reminded me that before you head New York, which might I remind you is during the Met Gala." She said before looking at me my eye brow raised "Don't start it's all Trevor has been talking about, he is hoping WT shows up. He was like they hadn't been there since Taylor was last there blah blah."

"Hey now it's true, I mean that last time they went..." he says as voice drifts off before he brings up his hand to his lips making the whole chefs kiss motion.

"Anyways... We need to get a few things done and filmed for the channel. But I know you and Hailee have her piercing thing next week, We just need to film a few videos."
