Chapter 26: Pay up

Hailee and I both had been pretty busy these last couple of days. We had plans to go and get the bet over with even if she technically cheated.

"I didn't cheat babe, I was just smart." She said as I watched her pull on her jeans.

"You so cheated baby." I told her as I finally got up from the bed, quickly going to take a shower.

I had the towel tied around my waist as I made my way out of the bathroom and into my closet.

"Ugh you really had to walk out like that." The voice behind me said as I smirked.

"Would you rather me walk out naked then?"

I don't hear anything until I feel a pair of boxers hit my head.

"Shut up and get dressed, we can't think like that right now. We have places to be.... Plus someone is getting a tattoo today." She said as she came up beside me kissing my cheek.

We had been staying at the house that I share with Maverick. They had slowly been doing better, we've been writing a ton.

It did always seem to surprise Hailee to be able to watch me work. She was also surprised by the many... and I mean many calls that I would get from Scarlett/ Olsen Twins.

I had been friends with them for so long that it was always been like second nature. There was also the calls from Lizzie who I knew was missing Maverick more then anything.

It had always been the three of us for the longest time, I mean to the point that my little secret almost came out.

I didn't realize I was deep in thought until now a pair of my jeans were thrown also at my head.

"What is up with you throwing things at me babe?" I state as I look over at her.

"You were so deep in thought, I even tried calling you but still nothing."she said as she walked over to me.

"So it was easier you throwing things at my head?" I said trying not to laugh but failing miserably.

"Pretty much. Plus I like picking out your clothes." she said handing me a shirt. "You know.. I know that Queen usually handles a lot of your clothes I just never expected American Apparel jeans in your closet."

"Well at one point you know how giving Taylor can be and still is she would help me with clothes. Especially for tour... I mean you've seen the stuff they had me wearing. So damn tight around some areas especially at the beginning of my career." I said as I finally slipped on the jeans.

"So the whole you look so good in my.. ok wait I don't want to know." She said as she covered her face.

"I told you a lot of history babe, but I only want you." I say as I pull her closer.

"Better only be me." She said as she moves her fingers into my belt loops, my head dipping to meet hers.

Our lips meeting as my hands slide down her back and onto her ass as I feel her gasp at the fact.

"Ok ok this is something I wasn't expecting to walk into." Mav said from outside the closet

"Such a cock blocker Mav"I state as I hear Mav cracking up laughing.

"I thought the two of you had places to be today." They said as I quickly pulled on a shirt as we made our way out of the closet.

I honestly never had to use a bra.. well sports bra but it made me feel me Y'know?

"We do we do." I said as I went to brush my hair.

"Lupe you literally don't have to do anything with your hair you realize that right?" Mav said as I rolled my eyes "What are y'all going to do anyways?"
