Chapter 48: You Promised

Lupe Pov

"I think this is Loop." Mav shouts almost ecstatically as we both climb down from our respective ladders.

"God I hope so." I state as I look around at all the decorations. "I am just saying if you decide to get married, that we go out for the party."

"Deal." They say as we make our move to put up the ladders, "Hey did Hailee tell you that one of her friends is supposed to be coming in, she got the ok from Selena."

"Honestly since I saw her earlier I have not seen her since then. Although I feel like we missed up though... I think we ended up with the harder work." I tell them as we start to just set up the packages of cookies, chips, snacks on the counter.  Taylor basically told us just to put them on the counter until she got back to organize them.

"Hmm well I figured she would've told you before they went to go pick up people." Mav said as I look at my watch, seeing that we have a couple of hours before we needed to head to the venue for the rehearsal/ rehearsal dinner.

"I mean it's not like we need to tell each other everything, technically we still aren't dating." I state as I take a few pictures of everything before sending them to Taylor.  "The DJ and band knows what time to get there tomorrow right?"

"Yes, stop stressing Lupe... we did fix the speakers for tonight." Mav said, knowing that they were trying to call me down.

"You know me I basically work in stress." I let out as I finally get a text back from Taylor, "We got approval."

"Thank God. I wouldn't even know what else we would have to go and change." Mav says as I nod my head in agreement.

If I am being completely honest I didn't want to mess up for either Selena or Taylor, they could sometimes be terrifying. They usually knew what they liked and how they wanted things done.

"So we did get everything set up at the other house right?" Mav asked breaking my thoughts as I look over at them, Mav quickly repeating themselves as I nodded my head.

"Yeah the other house is ready, I just had to make sure that the extended part of my closet was completely locked down." I tell them as they shake their head "Don't start anything Mav."

"You know that you are one just hiding the rest of your awards and the rest of your Taylor collection." Mav retorted with a smirk coming across their face as my finger quickly shoots up flipping them off.

"Hey don't judge me. I am a fan of her... even before I knew her and you know that." I tell them as Mav just laughs, "Anyways Lizzie said that we just need to go back and put the sheets onto the bed on your side."

A groan escaping from Mav as we quickly make our way to their side of the house, so the way that the house was split up was that Mav had the west side while I had the east side. We had both decided along time ago to basically create one huge house together.

The two of us never really liked being a apart much from each other, hence the many houses we do share, but this one was maybe eventually where we could just hide away with our families and friends.

On Mavs side of the house they had 5 bedrooms plus the master, on my end it was built the same exact way. We shared things like the kitchen, living room, theater room and so on.. like I said we didn't exactly like being away from each other too much after living with each other for so long.

"Stay still." Taylor said as she straighten my face looking back and forth at my hair "You are going to accidently get your ear chopped off."
