Chapter 33: Jealously

Hailee Pov

It had been at at least a month since I last saw Lupe, she really hadn't been responding to any of my text.

So many one worded responses was all that I was receiving, I mean I couldn't blame her.

"Hails, are you in here?" A voice spoke from the other side of the yard.

"Hey Greer." I said as she finally made her way into the backyard walking over towards me.

"I was wondering where you were, eventually I had to ask your mom and she said that you were sitting out here." She said as I nodded my head once again looking over at my phone, hoping that magically I would've gotten a text from her, a sigh escaping my lips.

"Well that doesn't sound good." Greer stated as she looked over at me her brows furrowed.

"Just so much going on." I said with a slight force of a smile.

"Oh yeah you and Cameron right?" She said as she showed me her phone a few people had been tagging me in a few pictures of the two of us from a few days ago.

I was supposed to be going to Billie Eilish concert with him and a few of his friends in a few weeks.

"That and a few other things." I told her as she nodded her head before looking over at her phone.

"I am guessing you mean the whole White Tiger thing huh?" She said as she showed me a picture of the two of us from the Met.

I nodded my head as I kept looking at the picture, when I am drawn out of my daze. There is a picture of Taylor and I know it's her... they're both in South Carolina. (I know I said North... my bad)

"Hailee are you ok? Sorry I didn't mean to change the picture." She said as she started scrolling back to the picture of us.

"No it's fine don't change it. I just didn't know that Taylor was going with.." I started saying pausing deep in thought. 

"Wait Hailee you know who they are under the mask?" Greer practically squealed as she went to try and look at the picture.

"Yeah I mean we were sort of this- I umm- thing." I said as her eyes widen at my omission.

"But they are there with Taylor? Hailee what is going on?" She said as I finally looked back at her, slightly biting my lip.

"We were this thing until management had a slight say, they wanted me to be seen with Cameron. And I didn't exactly tell them what was going on... I asked for this break between the two of us." I stated as her mouth dropped.

"Wait don't they deal with this like you? I mean they are friends with Taylor. The way that it looks like is maybe more then that." She said as she once again looked at the pictures, my jaw slightly clinched at the thought.

I knew that the two of them had a very long relationship with each other, but now it was supposed to be more of a friendship. 

"Hailee you can't exactly get mad at the fact. I mean technically they are single, well I don't know about Taylor. Do you even know why they are out there in the first place?" She asked looking once again over at me.

"Yeah they are filming a series as themselves. It's going to end up being a big deal once they actually reveal who they are... but you are completely sworn to secrecy." I told her as she nodded her head.

"But you two are over? And Taylor is seeing them now but I thought she was with Joe?" She asked I knew her head was completely turning. Mine had been when I first found out and Lupe had been complete patient with me as I asked a lot of questions.
