Chapter 39: Don't Tell Me

Hailee Pov

After being able to spend the week with Lupe and her family I definitely wasn't happy to leave. The entire family had been completely amazing and included me in on their mockery of Lupe.

It had been nice that Lupe had been able to be completely carefree once she was there, I had enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to hide and could be carefree with her.

I had honestly felt like the week had flown by because before I knew it I was back in Bethpage, New York filming for Dickinson.

I smiled at the picture Lupe had just sent me, they were still preparing for the wedding in a few months.

She had ended up staying longer then what she had thought she was going to, it was a constant of something feels off right now.

I honestly didn't know how to answer her or what to say at the moment.

"Hey Hailee are you ok?" Ella my costar asked as she sat down next to me.

"I am good just working through so many things at the moment." I told her as she nodded her head waiting for me to speak.

"You know you can talk to me." She stated as her hand touched my knee "I mean unless you might want to introduce me to one of your Midnight Fire friends. We've all seen those pictures."

I just shake my head at her statement before saying, "We are friends who talk quite a bit."

I mean I am not lying Lupe and I are constantly talking about so many random things. She had been telling me what had happen within their first tour.

Although I know she definitely kept quite a bit out, I don't know the full history of Taylor and Lupe but I know there was something there.

"Hey you ok?" I heard her ask as I shook my body trying to get out of the trance.

"Yeah sorry there has just been so much going on, I guess just trying to get my mindset right back in place." I tell her as she hums to my answer.  "But I could introduce you to them, Mav especially they should be up in this direction. WT is back home though wedding preparations."

As the last part left my lips I could see Ella's mouth drop.

"Sorry it's not like that their brother is getting married in October and they've been helping out. Plus they are heading to LA in mid August." I state knowing full well their schedule, we had gone over it quite a bit, the both of us wanting to know the next times we'd be able to see each other next. 

"Wow ok so those rumors are true then?" She asks as she looks over at me my brow arching as she does, a smile coming across her face. "I knew it."

My mouth now being the one to drop before I start to reply, "I mean we are just talking, but Ella no one can know, my management has been all over it about it. We don't want what happen before to happen again."

It wasn't until I felt her hand on my shoulder that I finally looked up at her.

"You're spiraling Hailee." She stated as her hand stayed on my shoulder.

"Sorry just so much happen and lets just say we didn't speak for a few months. I honestly thought I was going to lose them to Taylor. I mean the two have so much history together and they know things only the two went through." I spill out, I hadn't realize how much I had honestly been holding in till it was finally spilling out.

"You know you are doing it again Hails... but whatever happen between the two happen. It does not mean that they would leave you for her, besides isn't Taylor dating Joe Alywn or something?" She says as she looks over at me, I nodding my head not quite able to answer her just yet.
