Chapter 40: The End

Hailee Pov

The five of us stood off to the side trying our best to blend in at the cemetery. For the most part we considered it to be working no one had even tried approaching us just yet.

I mean it probably didn't help that we had guards off in the distance, yet still could protect us right away.

The five of us Taylor, Selena, Lizzie, Maverick and I stood together at a somber stance as we continued to watch everything unfold. To be completely honest who wouldn't be standing there like this when someone so young had died?

Maverick told us about the time with their best friend, how hard it had been on the entire community. They had lost so many lives with in a short time, there had not only been their friend, but others within months that had been lost.

That whole conversation definitely took us at a lost for words, I mean probably all except for Taylor. The two of them definitely had a lot between the two of them an-.

My thoughts were broken up when I could saw Lupe's family surrounding the casket, all of them seeming to be lost. I mean who wouldn't be?

I felt a presence next to me as I felt Taylor leaning over asking, "You ok Hailee?" I could feel her arm moving around my shoulders, my mind still completely lost for words.

"I am ok." I finally state as I look over at her, she had been honestly trying to hold all of us together after everything.

"You sure? It's ok not to be with everything going on." She tells me slightly rubbing my shoulder.

"I am sure... I am surprised that Scarlett isn't here." I state as look over at the taller blonde.

"She is supposed to be coming down with Rose, but Rose end up getting sick." Taylor tells me as I nod my head "I mean you know how connected those two are."

"I am definitely seeing that and the way you two always were. Especially with all of the pictures, and the two of you's past." I told her as she nodded her head, "but are you sure everything is going to work out."

"It will all work out in the end trust me." She states as the two of us watch them slowly lower the casket into the ground. Soft cries and teary eyes all around.

My heart definitely racing at the amount of people that stood around the grace site. When we finally saw the groups of people slowly breaking a part, and for the first time most of realizing the amount of people  that was in their family.

"It was like that when her granny passed away as well, that lady was a complete spit fire." Taylor states to the group when we see a familiar figure turning around looking at us

Flashback 1 week ago

As soon as I got off of the call with Taylor, it didn't take long for me to get ahold my management to let them know what was going on.

Although it felt like excruciating hours on the plane, the plane ride was actually amazingly quick.

Although my thoughts seemed to be everywhere, Taylor didn't know much. She had been waiting at Lupe's families house.

I could see the car that Taylor had help set up for Selena and I to take to the house.

We both rode in silence the most awful things coming to mind. I had been calling Lupe off the hook her phone completely going to voicemail.
