Chapter 55: A few different ideas

Hailee Pov:

You may be wondering how the rest of the weekend went after Lupe's and Mavericks birthdays? Honestly it hadn't been too eventful, Dickinson had ended up getting renewed for a second season! Which all of us were completely excited about and couldn't wait to get back to filming!

After the party though we thought all of that drinking would've finally settle Lupe down.. I mean even just for a little bit of time, but it didn't happen.

I was able to make my way back home which I was completely excited by, I had seriously missed my family.

"So you and Lupe?" Griffin stated getting me out of my mind as I looked over at him, a smile coming across his face.

"We are just us." I stated as his brow seemed to raise at my statement.

"You are just us, I can see it more than that Hailee. You've seemed different since coming back from New York and you can't say that it's just that either." He said looking at me even more intently cutting me off. "Don't even try to say that it's because the show got renewed or the fact that your show came out a few days ago."

"Come on Griff, we are just really good right now. Like I don't know what more you want to know." I say with a long sigh.

"Fine, I'll leave it alone for right now." He says as looks over at the tv, before once again looking over at me.

"Come on Griff, just let me relax for a bit. I know you haven't seen Lupe in a bit, but just for a bit." I stated as I could see that he was clearly disappointed at the fact. "She is going to be here soon, she is supposed to go to the American Music Awards with Taylor."

"You know I always forget that who she also is." He states turning his head once again towards the tv. "Does it get easier knowing?"

"I mean I guess so, I mean you've seen her.. it's like when you and I hang out. I am just me." I tell him as he agrees quickly with me.

"Yet I am sorry to say little sis.. their group along with Taylor makes up the music industry. They are a big thing even though many people don't know who they are." He says without taking his eyes off of the screen.

"I know... I serious get that and sometimes it worries me. I mean what if once everyone finds out who they are, everything changes between the two of us?" I question as I see him take his eyes off of the screen.

"I can see how much they care for you.. even when you do stupid things. I mean you don't think I haven't actually been talking to her this entire time?" He said with a smirk as I rolled my eyes "I mean I knew when she had left to go film."

My head completely spinning towards him before I said, "What you knew about that?"

"I mean duh, I probably speak more to her sibling more, but you know we tend to talk a lot about cars." He said with a slight shrug. "I mean she was excited about the whole thing."

I really wish that I hadn't done what I did previously, I would've been around for her big break and been able to see her succeed. That whole thing had led me to wanting to be see everything that was behind the scenes and not just what I could see through social media.

"You know you are really into whatever you are think about can't be that bad Hailee." My brother said with a smirk coming across his face.

"It's definitely one of those things that has me in deep in thought." I say as I feel his arm wrap around me.

"But you shouldn't worry about the whole thing." He said slightly shrugging his shoulders as my brows seemed to furrow together. "I can see the way that she cares about you and her actions towards you I can tell are one of a kind."
