Chapter 35: What now?

Lupe and I hadn't exactly seen each other since that night, I mean it isn't like we hadn't been texting back and forth. She just wanted me to figure out what was going to be my next step, it's always crazy how much she wanted me to be put first.

Well I mean probably not that crazy.

"Well you seem like you are in a happier mood then." the voice said as they entered the room, I recognizing it almost instantly.

"Hey Greer." I said with a smirk coming across my face as she came to sit down in front of me.

"ok you seem to be in a better mood then before? I feel like something happen?" she said as her eyes narrowed towards me as another smirk came across my face. "Did you finally get to talk to her?"

My mind goes to that night in the restroom, Cameron never questioned the fact that it took me a while in there... honestly I don't think he seemed to noticed.

"You did... where did you go just then?" she asks once again looking back over at me once again.

"Well we "ran" into each other." I stated as I air quoted the ran part. "I might've saw her leave and I decided to take my chance."

"Well then I am guess it went good, I mean by the smile that you currently have on your face.." she said letting the last part drift.

Oh she definitely knew that there was something more then I was letting on, I wasn't exactly ready to let that go just yet that's for sure.

"OMG. Something did happen!" she exclaimed almost bouncing out of her seat. "Come on you can't just leave me like that."

"We may have found ourselves in the restroom doing more than just kissing.." I told her as her eyes widen at my omission.

"So then she isn't with Taylor right? I mean I've seen so much about the things that is currently going on... I mean have you met Joe?" she replies to my omission.

"I've met him once.. at that whole opening of their recorded label." I tell her as her brows furrow towards me. "Ok stop that... We didn't have a great meeting towards each other. I am also guessing that Lupe and him don't exactly get along. I've seen the tension between the two."

"Well I mean I get it... it seems like Lupe and Taylor really seriously have a lot of history together." she said as I nodded my head to what she was saying, those two always seem to gravitate towards each other. I was once again caught up in my thoughts, the only thing pulling me away from them was my phone going off.

Of course a smile coming across my face as soon as I saw who it was, Greer of course taking notice of my change in demeaner.

Well what I should've said
was that I heading back to

My brows furrow at the admission as I reread the last text that she sent me.

"Ok I can clearly see your gears look that are severely turning right now.. and I already know that it was her, so don't even try to hid it." She said as I hand her my phone, I watched as she read our conversation before seeing her smiling and trying not to laugh. "You know you should read that new message."
