twenty four

Early at the morning Charles drive us to Arthur's house and go back home to talk with his PR manager to fix it.

"Maddy hey! How are you? How is Mateo?" - Carla hug me tight
"Hey Carla, he doesn't know what is going on but soon if we don't fix it it will effect him. That's what I'm scared for." - i sigh
"I know, when i start dating Arthur it was the same. They all hate me even if i was not saying anything. Arthur simply fix it so Charles can too." - she hand me a cup of coffee
"Thank you, I was so worried and nervous, i wanted to go with Charles but i know i can't handle it but in the same time i need him but i know he want to fix it and and.." - i start shaking and felt one warm hug around me
"Charles called me, it's going okay till the night he will come too. But now calm down." - i felt Arthur's arms around me
"Arth is right, I'll go cook some food and you will calm her okay?" - Carla take me from his arms and hug me too after that she kiss Arthur then go to the kitchen
"Arth I'm scared.." - i start shaking again
"I know you are, but Charles will fix it i promise you." - he rub my back and i saw Mateo waking up from his sleep
"Mommy, where's daddy? And what we're doing here?" - he rub his eyes and sit on the couch
"Erm..well.." - i start getting nervous and anxious because I can't find the right words to explain him
"Daddy works now and you and mommy will be here for the day. After that daddy will come." - Arthur explains him simply and Mateo looks like he understood
"Okay! Can we play on your simulator?"
"Of course buddy!"
"Go have some sleep, it seems like you didn't have good one last night. I'll call Charles when i put Mateo back to sleep. If you need me or Carla just come." - he whisper to me and give me a blanket
"Thanks Arth." - i smile and go upstairs to have some sleep
Arthur goes to the kitchen to tell Carla I'm sleeping
"I feel so bad for her..she don't deserve this whole thing..i hope it will be fixed soon."
"I feel bad for them but especially for Charles. This is little too much for him you need to hear how sad and tired he sounds. I really want to help them so I'll talk with Charles to see if i can do anything."
"Okay! If i can just tell me I'll do it immediately." - Carla hug him and continue cooking

I slept for hours because i needed it so badly. Charles was already here downstairs with the others.

"Did you saw her?"
"No, she's sleeping. When she wakes up I'll see her. Do you have any alcohol?"
"Hard day isn't it?" - Arthur hand him whiskey
"I'm not going to ask why you have whiskey here without telling me but yes it was a hard." - he look half mad at Arthur
"Yeah don't! Are you hungry? There's a lot of food"
"Yess! I'm starving!"
"Stay here, I'll go get." - Carla smiles at them
"Carla is so nice, i like her. She's good for you."
"You need to see how she protects Maddy, they're like sisters. She told me she feel really bad for Maddy cause she don't deserve that."
"So cute." - Charles smile and take a sip of his drink
"I know you're stressed, Charles. If I can do anything for you just tell me."
"It's enough that you take care of Maddy when I can't, and of Mateo too. Thank you."
"That's why brothers are for!" - Arthur hug him
"Thanks mate." - Charles relax himself on the couch waiting for me

I wake up soon after that and to downstairs straight to Charles
"I've missed you." - i snuggle into him
"I missed you too, how was today. Are you feeling okay?"
"I slept for the whole day, we really need to thank Carla and Arth for taking care of Mateo whole day."
"There's nothing to thank us about. We're family." - Carla smile at us
"Absolutely." - Arthur smile too
"I'm so grateful for you all guys.." - i mumble and look at Charles who was drinking his whiskey
"Hey, why?" - i look at him little confused
"Just a little, don't worry. It was little stressful today." - he kiss me gently and i can smell the alcohol
"Okay.." - i smile and sit on his lap.
We hear Mateo coming down maybe because he felt no one is with him there
"Mommy! Daddy!" - he scream and start crying and Charles stand and take him
"We're here buddy, what's up?"
"I was alone and it was scary in the dark!" - he sob and hug Charles
"Sorry buddy, we're here but you have to go to sleep. We will come soon." - Charles kiss his head
"No! It's scary upstairs! I want to stay here!"
"No buddy, I'll put you back to sleep and me and mommy will come after 5 minutes okay?" - Mateo nod and they go upstairs
"He's the best dad ever." - i whisper and take a sip of Charles's whiskey
"He is also the best boyfriend." - Arthur smiles
"Absolutely the best!" - i laugh

Charles comes back and sit next to me and wrap his hand around my shoulders
"Are you tired? Do you want to go and have some sleep?"
"I'm okay, if you want to we'll go." - he give me a tired smile and drink his whiskey
"Let's go, thanks for everything to you two it really means so much to us. We love you." - we head upstairs
We prepare for sleep, Charles takes a shower while i was laying on the bed. He comes and lay next to me
"Thank you for the time you spend trying to fix my things, you really shouldn't have." - i hug him tight
"When it's for you and Mateo  I'll do anything." - he kiss me and close his eyes
"I love you."  - i mumble and close my eyes too
"I love you too." - he smiles

We fall asleep soon after that hugging eachother tight
