seventy one

Maddy*

After the race which Charles won with an intense battle between him and Max, me and Isa went back to Monaco because Charles and Carlos left for Maranello straight after.

"So, here. I've been thinking about it for at least a month. I got some ideas for a venue and of course the list of the guests."
"Very impressive Maddy, did you talked with Charles?"
"Yeah, i did partly. But only the venues. He was busy so we didn't have opportunity to talk about the guests." I smiled and handed her coffee.
"Then we should do it. Do you think he will agree with what you choose?"
"Oh, I won't choose it like finally we will just take a look for the things." I smiled.

We spend like few hours only to fix the guests list. even if it was early we planed to go and look for a dress.

Knowing Charles, he will be probably really stressed when it comes to Abu Dhabi so i really wanted everything to be ready before it.

"I think we've done such a great job." Isa smiled and me and i nod.
"Mhm, I'll send everything to Charles and ask him. He won't probably see it now but at least." I grabbed my phone.

As we talked i dressed up the kids and we went out to look for a dress.

Even if Charles told me he will take me to even more fancier shops to look for a dress i still loved the ones in Monaco.

"Mommy, this one is beautiful." Mateo held my hand and showed me one dress.
"Oh, yeah it is baby. Do you like it?" I smiled.
"Yeah, you'll look beautiful in it." He looked at me with shining eyes.
"Thank you so much baby. Let's send it to daddy, his opinion also matters." I laughed and looked at Isa.

After another few hours of looking for dress, we were definitely hungry.

We sat at our favourite restaurant which i also had talked so much about to Isa and now she will be finally able to see it and eat from there.

We don't actually have much time together with Isa expect when we see eachother on the races.

It was great time spend with great company.

Charles*

I've been really busy with Carlos since we arrived here. My phone was buzzing with texts from Maddy.

She was so happy about the wedding and i can't lie i also was. But i don't have enough time to look through everything she send me but i was going to see them when I'm free.

"Wow mate they are really taking this serious." Carlos laughed.
"Like a job!" I also laughed. "Everything aside, I'm very happy and she's also. I can understand her." I smiled.

I had the short time to look at my phone and see some of the things Maddy send me.

I took a quick look on the guests list and the dress. I already had imagined her in that dress. It was so damn beautiful.

And i was sure she was going to be so beautiful in this day too.

"Did you bought the dress?" I texted her.
"No, why?"
"I like it. If you like it you can book it. If you don't like another one you can buy that one." I smiled to myself.
"Are you sure you like it?"
"I love it. You'll look so beautiful in it."
"Mateo said the same."
"He's not lying. Buy her if you want to. It's our day we should wear what we really want to."
"Thank you love."
"I'll call you tonight."
"Sure, I'll wait."

I put my phone aside and we continue with our stuff.

Maddy*

"He's literally the sweetest." I smiled.
"What did he said?"
"He said he love the dress and if i want it i can buy it. He also said I'll look beautiful in it."
"Daddy's right!" Mateo smiled and cuddle into me.
"He's so in love." Isa smiled.

After we finished with our meals we head back home. I putted Mateo and Lya to sleep and i was finally able to relax.

"Will you buy the dress?"
"I think i should at least book it like Charles said. I'm still not sure."
"We will book it later. Now a well deserved rest." Isa smiled and I nod.

We had a great afternoon watching our favourite shows.

I was honestly shattered after the whole day so i don't really wanted to do much.

Unfortunately Isa has to leave because of work so i was going to be alone.

I was going to order food and had a chill night. A well deserved one after everything.

As long as Lya was calm because i was sure she won't be.

After me and Mateo ate i was struggling to calm Lya. She was crying for strong 1 hour straight and i wasn't sure what to do.

All I wanted was Charles to call me...
So he did. Like he read my mind.

"Oh, I see someone is upset." Lya slightly stopped crying hearing Charles's voice.
Mateo ran and sat next to me so he can also talk with Charles.
"God, she's so clingy for you." I sighed.
"So, what happened did you bought the dress?"
"No, i didn't booked it too. I was too tired to go out again." I smiled.
"I'm gonna book it when I'm back tomorrow morning."
"Thanks."

Till the end of our call Lya and Mateo were asleep in my arms. I only carried them to their beds and went back to the living room.

A take a quick look through everything again just to make sure everything is like we wanted. I thought about changing the date.

We said December but maybe it's not a great time. So maybe in November after the end of the season.

But I'll talk about it with Charles when he's back.

Christmas was a period when we are away somewhere most of the years. Charles have a camp with his friends and Andrea almost every year so that mean we'll be away this year too.

If we are not, we'd like to spend it with our families. This year the family got bigger so it will be really nice to be together again.

And knowing Charles can be a champion for the first time it's making me really happy and proud. He was going to make it. I'm sure. He promised me and Mateo. His father, Jules, his mom and brothers.

He promised us and he's going to make it happen.

After all the hard times he is been through, all the efforts, strength and passion he put into it, everything is going to worth it.
