Charles*

On Saturday they send Maddy out of the hospital. I was glad because it make me sure she and the baby are okay.

She will not be on the paddock with me because i it's really busy. Mateo also won't be. I want them to be safe.

"I feel bad I'm not coming to support you." - she said sadly and i lean to kiss her
"Love, coming with me here is enough support. And I'm really grateful. But now you better stay here. When we are back home you'll have strict rest and no excuses. Please." - i said and she nod slowly
"I understand that's the right thing. Good luck today. We love you." - she wrap her arms around my shoulders and i pull her closer
"Thank you love. If something's wrong, I'm begging you call me or text me. If I don't answer contact with Ferrari or my media manager." - i said seriously and look at her
"Okay, i promise you. This time really." - she promised and i smile

Mateo was still sleeping in his bed so unfortunately I can't say goodbye to him. I kiss his head gently and take my stuff to leave.

Maddy*

I promised to Charles I'll stay in the hotel because it's the right thing for me and the baby right now.

I obviously agree. I can't put our baby in danger.

He already left, Mateo was still sleeping so i decided to take a shower.

My belly was really visible, i knew the feeling and i was happy.

Still quite worried about the world's reaction to our second baby.

I was sure they will ask Charles about that why I'm not with him but i was sure he can avoid the questions really well.

I took a long shower, a long one.

I needed it after the day at the hospital.

I can already feel the baby moving. Not kicking but there is that feeling of having a little life in your belly.

When i was ready Mateo was already awake.

"Good morning amour." - i said and sit on the bed
"Good morning mommy." - he said sleepy
"I'll order breakfast now. Today we will stay here. I need some rest and daddy said at the paddock is really busy so we better not be there." - i said and he nod
"So what we are going to do? It will be boring here!"
"Well...i can talk with uncle Arth to get you cause I really need to rest right now baby." - i sigh and he shake his head
"No, I'll stay with you. Daddy told me to take care of you."
"Oh baby.." - i stroke his cheek and he lean on me

The rest of the morning we spend mostly resting. Or Mateo was playing with something.

I can't lie it was boring only resting and i was thinking about going on the paddock with Mateo.

I know Charles can be "mad" but i really wanted to support him.

Anyway I didn't. Just because I don't want to risk anything.

"It's time for the practice baby. Come here." - i shout to Mateo and he run and sit next to me.

Charles was doing good. P2 was great for him.

I was feeling sick maybe because i only ate at breakfast.

Even if i ate a bit of a food the sickness hit me.

I run to the bathroom and start throwing up. It got me really weak but i tried to not show it Infront of Mateo.

He was calmly watching Charles. I just smile and sit back again.

When the practice end up i was really sleepy and tired and i end up falling asleep again.

Charles*

The practice ended i was P2. I'm not going to complain it wasn't bad. But I'm really worried about Maddy.

When she's not here only she is in my mind. Mateo too of course.

I wasn't too sure if i want to call her cause she can be sleeping.

I end up calling her because my boyfriend instincts can't shut down and I can't stop being worried.

It took a long before she answered the phone. In fact it wasn't she it was Mateo.

"Hey daddy." - he whisper
"Hey buddy, how's mommy? What's she doing?"
"She is sleeping. She seemed okay and I think she just throw up once." - my son explained still whispering trying to not wake up Maddy
"Okay..tell her to call me when she wake up. I need to hear she's okay."
"Ok but if you're driving?" - he asked confused
"Then call Xavi." - i said and he seemed like he's agree
"Ok buddy, take care of mommy i need go go."

I end the call and head to the media pen. I was getting mentally ready about being asked questions like "Where's your girlfriend?" "Can you confirm your girlfriend is pregnant" or stuff like that.

My media manager was walking next to me talking something. I was clearly not listening.

I stopped Infront of the mic and tried to listen to the questions.

After a few questions about racing and the car of course they needed to ask about Maddy.

"So Charles we didn't saw your girlfriend today? Is there a reason for that?"
"I would like to not share." - i tried to smile and look away
"Good luck for tomorrow!"
"Thanks."

I go back to the garage and took some rest before heading for a team meeting.

Maddy still didn't call me. Again i was more than worried. Is she okay..?

Is the baby okay?

As a father and boyfriend there's no other worries that you can have.

After the team meeting i checked my phone. Still nothing.

"What's wrong mate?" - Carlos asked me curious
"I'm worried for Maddy. She's been asleep since hour and half. If it's a nap she never sleep that much." - i said checking my phone once again
"Mate she's probably just tired. It's normal especially now."
"She can be but..i don't know I'm just worried." - i sigh and put my phone in my pocket
"She will call you when she's awake. Don't worry."
"Thanks mate."

I spend the rest of the time in my drivers room. Still nothing from Maddy.

I get ready for the second practice. Still that worried for her. Just two hours and a little and I'll be with her but hell it's a lot of time.

I finished the practice P3. As quick as possible i get through the media and everything just to buy food and be back to Maddy and Mateo.

As soon as I enter the room was kind of relived. She was still sleeping but she was looking okay.

Mateo was sleeping in his bed.

I put everything down and lay next to Maddy. As soon as she felt I'm here she snuggle into me.

I kiss her head gently and she open her eyes looking at me

"You don't know how worried i was." - i whisper
"Why?"
"I called you, Mateo talked you were sleeping. I expected you to wake up earlier and to hear you're okay but it's fine now." - i pull her closer and she laugh slightly
"I'm sorry Charlie. The sickness made me really weak so I slept whole afternoon." - she yawn and kiss me
"I bought food. Are you hungry?"
"Yep. I practically throw up everything i ate.." - she stroke my hair and i smile

I give her the food and wake up Mateo.
We all ate and after that she took a quick shower before we go to bed.

As soon as we snuggle into eachother we fall asleep
