thirty three

At the morning i wake up quite early, it was 8am. I was feeling so strange when Charles is not home. In some way..lonely.

I knew Mateo is with me but to have Charles here is something different. I knew it was too early to call him so i just go to watch something in the living room.

After 2 hours i finally find the strength to stand, make breakfast and get ready. Without Charles I'm really not motivated to do things. I find it quite hard for some reason.

I made breakfast and coffee for me. I waited for Mateo to wake up and do something with him. I really wanted to call Charles but i was not sure what he can do now.

He can be on team meeting or press conference. Everything. So i decided to wait for him to call me.

Mateo wake up and come to me.

"Good morning mommy! Can we call daddy? I miss him." - he sit next to me on the couch
"I wanted too baby but daddy can be busy now. Let's wait for him to call. It won't take that long I'm sure!" - i hand him breakfast and continue drinking my coffee
"Fine.." - he said disappointed
"I know you miss daddy, i miss him too but i promise next race is here and daddy will be around always!"
"So it's his home one?" - he asked exited
"Yes! His home one! And we will be here with him!" - i smile
"He will definitely win it!"
"Yes baby! He will!" - i laugh

I was too lazy to do something actually and Mateo too. I hear knock on the door, i wasn't expecting anyone but still go and open it.

Arthur were staying there.

"Umm hey?"
"Maddy hey! I'm actually here because Charles told me to check you!" - Arthur smile to me
"Good, you can come inside." - I shrug shoulders and let him in
"Who's here mommy?"
"I'm are here buddy!" - Arthur take him in his arms
"Heyy!" - he laugh and hug Arthur
"Can you watch after him for some time, i need to go and clear my mind alone. To run or in the gym."
"Are you sure it's a good idea? I mean you need to rest." - Arthur look confused at me
"I really need it Arth, it will be for a little. I'm not going to push myself."
"As you want, call me if you need something."
"Sure, thanks!" - i go to change
"Where's mommy going?" - Mateo ask Arthur
"She's going to have some time for her buddy, she needs it."
"Is she alright? Mommy and daddy don't tell me anything when they're not okay!"
"Mattie you're still little, you don't need to deal with that. Mommy and daddy have eachother and you and they're fine!"
"If you say so."

I go out of the bedroom and take my stuff

"Again Maddy are you sure? Charles will be worried for you."
"He's overreacting Arth, i was just tired. I'm feeling a bit better now, it's for good to go and do some physical stuff not only staying here. I'll probably call Charles to see how is he."
"But i want to talk with daddy too!" - Mateo said little pissed
"We'll call him when mommy leave okay?" - he nod
"Okay I'm going, bye! If you two need something the apartment is yours just don't make a huge mess alright?" - they two nod and i left.

Maddy*

I really needed to be out alone, do some running and stuff and go back home. I first make 3 session of running before going to the gym.

It's feeling so much better than staying on the couch. On my way to the gym i called Charles to see what is he doing.
I enter there and he finally answer the call.

"Hey babe!" - I sit on the ground and put my camera on
"Where are you babe?" - he look at me confused
"In the gym, you know i need some physical move. I spend so much time just resting. I needed that session here."
"If you think is okay, alright. Just be careful. How's Mateo?"
"He's home with Arthur. He's fine, misses you as usual, and i told him the next race is Monaco so he's happy about that you'll be around and he's sure you'll win it!"
"Such a cute support! I'm happy I'll be around and we'll be together, I miss you both. Honestly I'm not getting the best results now." - he laugh
"Why? Are you unfocused? Stop thinking about me and focus on your race tomorrow!" - i look at him mad
"I'm sorry love, you're in my mind always. I know i have such a queen who's waiting for me in home with my precious little son." - he smile lightly
"Hey! I'm serious! Focus on your race!"
"I can't when my queen is not around."
"You'll make me come right now and smack the shit out of you Leclerc."
"I wouldn't mind queen."
"I'm fucking booking a plane for Spain if you continue like that."
"I can book it for you." - he laugh
"Then book it!" - i take my stuff and head back home.
"Are you coming with Mateo?"
"Sure, he's coming too!" - i run to our apartment and end the call
