Large soft clouds drifted past the Lightning Eater's immense grand window, wisps of white tendrils reaching up into the early mornings blue sky. More white wisps of steam curled in front of Evergreen's eyes as she clutched at a large ceramic mug of coffee, the warmth of the mug and Mirajane's presence next to her doing little to sooth her. Mirajane was trying to help her hardest she truly was, like presenting her with the a cool glass of water when she threw up again this morning and giving her warm reassuring hugs to help sooth her. But despite Mirajane's comfort last night and this morning, dark bags circled under Evergreen's eyes like ink blotches, alerting to the world her distress and insomnia. We are so high up Evergreen thought, a set of fingers reaching up and brushing against the bitterly cold glass in front of her, the same window displaying nothing but the pale blue sky. The silence stretched tenaciously across the empty lightning cabin, as it was called, neither sound nor movement breaking its spell. Sighing Evergreen retracted her hand away from the window, instead gripping the sleeve of the dark blue jacket draped over her shoulders not caring if people saw it now. "You don't have to stay with me if you don't want to Mira" Evergreen said softly looking over at Mirajane's somber face staring out the window.

"No, I'm not going to leave you Evergreen" Mirajane exclaimed, wrapping an arm around the back of her slim shoulders and another around the front holding her in place "I won't"

Turning her face back towards the never ending sky stretching out in front of her, Evergreen brooded. It has already been two days...I wonder if we will get to him quicker now that we are flying- Evergreen began to think before a door ground open, it's hinges squealing in a quiet rage against the force. Heavy footsteps echoed down the wooden floor, mixing into the melody of the ships muted groaning, before they stopped at the top of the brass stairs leading down into the ally below.

"...Ladies?" a deep thick voice quietly asked, his rich accent rolling across the room.

Evergreen watched Mirajane stiffen from the corner of her eye at the familiar deep voice, an angry frown pinching her gorgeous face as she turned to the captain. "What do you want?" Mirajane asked, her normal politeness vanishing as she remembered his horrible story he weaved yesterday.

"Uh..I was wondering if I could speak to Miss Evergreen there please?" Christopher asked politely, his feet shifting awkwardly from Mirajane's intimidating stare. The captain vividly remembered Mirajane's ferocious Satan's soul from yesterday and certainly did not want to see it directed at him, but that doesn't mean he was going to take attitude on his own ship, demons or not!

"Hadn't you said enough yesterday!" Mirajane objected her arms releasing Evergreen as she twisted around fully, her fury etched into her face "Can't you tell that your words have done enough?!" she vehemently said her voice rising in volume as she spoke. "You have no idea what we've been through at all. What she is going through. What I am going through. And you think you can just speak with us!" Mirajane stretched out a finger accusingly at the large man across the room "You have no right-"

"Enough Mira" Evergreen said softly her ears piqued from the loudness of her voice. Turning around Evergreen gently pulled down the takeover mages arm, clasping her forearm gently before she turned to face Christopher "I will speak with you".

"Evergreen are you sure?" Mirajane asked not wanting to leave her side.

"I'm sure"Evergreen replied while removing the dark blue coat and handing it to Mirajane. Stepping down and into the ally Evergreen approached the large man on the other side, her expression dead pan and only mildly intimidating as she stopped at the base of the steps. Nodding courteously with an equally dead pan face, Christopher twisted around towards the exit taking a few steps before twisting around to check if Evergreen was following. Crossing her arms Evergreen followed the captain up the brass stairs, her long heels clacking noisily up the brass steps before tapping rhythmically along the honey coloured floor. What does he want now? Evergreen thought glaring at the back of Christopher's head, a nasty scowl plastered to her face, If he is going to talk about this being a useless rescue mission I will push him off of this flying ship. The pair silently trekked down the dim hallway, until they reached the dark round topped door leading to the top deck of the ship. Grasping the bronze handle on this side of the door, Christopher's hand glowed white briefly, the light transcending into small blue runes that framed the door way before the door opened with a clunk. Yanking the door open, Christopher stepped out into the pure sky air and to the side making room for Evergreen. Her head tilted up haughtily, Evergreen stepped forward unable to smother her sigh of gratefulness from the clean pure air, the stifling smell of ozone that belonged to the inside of the ship, no longer clouding her lungs.
