The night is alive

You know what I said about chapter 27 being the only chapter with a sex scene... haha. LIES. So you have been warned...(also this chapter is fairly smutty just a heads up)

The night is alive. The moon is high and huge as the lightning eater proudly sailed in the sky's territory. The great carpet of stars twinkle and winks down at the mass of people living the night for what it is. A night for celebration. Metal cage braziers evenly stood up along the rails and lit the blackened deck in an orange light of flames and the lights in the night sky. But the night was alive with music, laughter and dance. Elfman grinned at his young partner a lovely lady of the crew. Not any of the rescue team were aware of the women's presence until the crew threw off their capes in the great swing and romance of the party. A wicked and unusual tune was setting everybody's feet on fire as five members of the crew played strange instruments that set Elfman's heart and soul alive. Dancing on his toes Elfman span so the girl with indigo hair was back to back with him and listened to her laugh and she too spun and they both drummed their feet against the deck in time with the beat, and moved back and forward in fast movements. The burning heat of dance numbing the lesser pain in his shoulders. The whole deck was a blur of movement and Elfman felt his grin stretch even further as he caught glimpses of his friends in the amazing rush as well.
Laxus and Freed were laughing alongside crew mates all pairs of feet stamping and Freed occasionally offering Laxus some of his delicious bread, which he readily accepted and span him around at times from gratitude. They both danced and laughed like nobody was watching.
Wendy was hauled onto the dance floor by Kallin who despite being her junior by seven years, he was nearly up to her forehead. And Elfman grinned and danced harder at Wendy's own party fever.
Natsu was showing off his fire, and blew intricate patterns of flame that set eyes alight with wonder and voices crowing oohs and aahs by the crew not dancing.
Bickslow was being the ladies man of the night. He linked arms with many a woman who were entranced by his luminous green eyes, and laughed at his jokes and his soul dolls that twirled in each ladies long hair.
Happy was showing off to Carla how much food he could steal from the huge tables, piled high with delicious foods and drinks. Carla pretended to be mature but even she could not stop the fire of the party from entering her and she too joined his game and made a competition out of it.
Mirajane was the flavor of the night among the men and women and was dancing with many a dance partner as well, and she threw herself among it like the party demon she is. Her white hair swirling like a sheet of silk spun from the starlight.

Ever was much the same as Mirajane. She was as much the party animal as Mira and she danced and laughed with her many dance partners, and she threw off the last few weeks of misery along with Elfman. She laughed into the night and Elfman felt his own gust of breath leave him in his own silent and unique laughter. Their eyes met amid the twist of bodies and the air sparked between them. Linking arm and arm with his partner, Elfman spun her around and twirled her to another man who linked arms with her and danced together like they were always partners. Dancing on his toes, Elfman made his way in the general direction of Evergreen, his arms linking and spinning multiple partners on the way. His coat flaring with his moves and fanning like a magnificent bird showing off his feathers. Girls arms linked with his, and they brushed against his chest with a coy grin before immediately spinning away. One girl kissed his check as they twirled together before laughing at her spontaneous giddiness and linked arms with the captain himself and danced the night away. Grinning, Elfman felt a smooth petite hand slip into his own and his own body being pulled to the rhythm of another and spun in opposite direction. Already knowing who she is, Elfman's arm reached right around his back, not noticing how his shoulder groaned in complaint to the demanding task. And wrapped his arms around Ever's trim waist and span her off her feet. Spinning around incredibly quickly, Elfman caught her upper back and just as she began to land back down and bowed her over and leaned forward so their noses were touching.
