"Master, this isn't necessary!"

"Nonsense. I know what I am doing"

"But what you are about to do will kill him if he cannot cope!"

Elfman slowly slid his eyelids up, not bothering to try and move anything else as he lacked the energy and the resistance to ignore the pain that even twitching brought him. His dungeon that he had become so accustomed to swam and twisted before his eyes like a kaleidoscope, the two regretfully familiar figures doubling and merging before his eyes. Mind numbing pain ravaged his insides from where the creature that was put inside of him wandered, that mingling with Elfman's other enemy his destroyed throat and numerous physical and mental wounds. Grudgingly, Elfman forced himself to listen to what they were saying.

"When have you suddenly developed a conscience Calador!?" Advorsus yelled "not three days ago you took delight in seeing this man tortured. What happened? have you suddenly develop a deep and emotional bond with him?"

"I'm fine with watching him die, I'm fine watching him being deprived of natural human rights. But what I cannot watch is someone who gets a monster put inside of him, and then hallucinations of people dear to him taunting him of coming home" Calador bit off, forcing respect into his voice.

Elfman's eyes narrowed with suspicion as Calador's words slowly reached his brain, why is he....defending me Elfman thought waiting for some kind of deceit and trickery that he was now accustomed to. Advorsus surprised Elfman. He moved quicker than possible and clutched Calador by the neck, his fingers biting deeply into his skin while his purple eyes flashed dangerously. Thick black webs crept out of Advorsus' fingers and spread through Calador's pale grey skin causing him to choke and sputter and make his limbs twist into unseemly angles. His expression that of reliving and old pain. Elfman's faded pale blue eyes watched dully at the exchange between the two men not caring one way or the other if Calador dies.

"You will do very well to know your place, Calador" Advorsus spat "you have been a useful servant throughout the time we have spent together but my patience is beginning to wear thin. If I hear such insubordination from you again I will leave you in the state I found you after your first encounter with Mr Strauss. And besides which, that creature I put inside of him" Advorsus harshly whispered, his fingers tightening into Calador's skin "is exactly the same as the monster that was forced inside of him all those months ago and not unlike your previous master". Twisting around, Advorsus released Calador from his painful grasp the black and thick webs retracting from his skin and his long thin limbs returning once more to their natural state. "Now leave I need you to be the most proper receptionists for...our guests arrival, she should be here very soon" Advorsus growled a amused glint in his eye as he approached Elfman.

Elfman tracked Calador's movements as the grey skinned man stiffly bowed towards Advorsus' turned back and hobbled out of the room clearly still in pain. Who's ...this guest that is coming here Elfman thought as weakness started to envelope his mind from starvation and exhaustion.

"Straight to business I believe Mr Strauss" Advorsus said while picking up Elfman's jaw and holding it up so their eyes met "we sadly have a bit of a time limit, which is a shame because this is only the third morning of our little....experiment"

Elfman bared his teeth weakly as his shoulders throbbed with fresh pain from the sudden stretch in neck muscles, his eyes swimming and tuning in and out of the person in front of him.

"Now as I'm sure you are aware" Advorsus said while twitching his fingers "you are on the cusp of death" as soon as the words left his mouth, Elfman watched with horror as the three most important people in his life appeared behind his captors still form. "And as you are also aware" Advorsus continued "the mind is at its weakest at this time" grinning the purple eyed man strode over to Evergreen and Lisanna and draped his arms over their shoulders, their own dull eyes staring straight ahead. Elfman withered in a rage, his mouth slightly parted as he snapped his teeth in a feral rage. Don't you touch them! Elfman thought, wanting so badly to scream at him at the top of his lungs for once again using the people he loves as a weapon.
