"Aw my baby's leaving me all alone" my mum said with tears in her eyes, as she hugged me.
She's so dramatic, it's not like she's not allowed to see me but oh well.
"Mum, I'll miss you too but you know I need this new exploration" I smile.
"I know and I won't ruin it for you. Okay baby? Well, you got everything. I'll miss you too my love. Give mama a hug" she smiles back.
I hugged her excitedly and watched her leave before going into a new journey of my new life.
I enter the building and then I'm lost cause I have no idea of where I'm going.
No directions, no nothing. Well except my room hall and number.
"Uh excuse me" I called a girl with dark blonde hair. "Uhm hey" she said awkwardly.
"Sorry to disturb you but please where's Diamond hall, Room 15" I asked her.
"It's down this straight path, that's my hall so why don't I take you? But you'll wait, I won't take time" she tells me.
"Okay sure" I answer her and after 10 minutes, she was back. "Okay newbie let's go" she grabbed my arm.
We journeyed down the hallway and got to a point with a banner 'Diamond Hall for Delightful Girls'.
She took me to a room door with a bold number of 15 on it.
"Diana, is this the newbie?" a dark-skinned girl with dreadlocks and piercings asked the girl who brought me in.
"Yeah, saw her in the hallway and directed her since its my room too" she answered.
"Wait, you're my roommate?" I was stunned. "Yup" she laughed.
"Why didn't you just say that?" I asked her. "Now where's the fun in that? It's just a little surprise" she smiled.
"Anyhoo, let me introduce you to the girls" Diana, I presume said. "I'm Diana" she says.
"That's Amelia" she pointed at the girl with dreadlocks. "Aw my other name's Amelia" I smiled.
"Good for you" she replied. Geez. "Amelia is the mean one amongst us. You'll get used to it" Diana says.
"The last girl is Ayisha. She doesn't really talk much but she's okay I guess. I think she went to pray" Diana said.
"Thanks for the little intro Diana. Well my name's Jasmine and it's nice to meet you guys" I say and mean it.

I met Ayisha earlier that evening and she's a big quiet and shy girl but I hope to see more of her.
"So talk to me" Diana sat by my side outside on a bench. "What about?" I faced her.
"You know your life or your former school cause you should have a reason for resuming here in 12th grade, it's super weird" she speaks.
"Well, my life is super boring I guess considering I've been home schooled for the past few years" I blurt out.
I didn't want anyone to know but at least I didn't blurt out too much.
Her telling me to talk about myself is funny. She'll probably feel pity for me if she hears all about me these past years.
"Home schooled? Strange. Why? Something bad happened?" she asks.
"Yeah but I rather not go in that direction of my past" I tell her bluntly.
"I understand. Sorry for bringing it up. I didn't mean to stir up bad memories" she apologized.
"It's cool. You didn't know" I replied to not make her feel bad for bringing it up.
