Chapter 25: "This night is gonna be lit"

"Sean said he'll be here in thirty minutes. So we need to start getting dressed" Diana told me.

I got out the new dress I got from the store yesterday. It was a silk copper red knee-length dress. It had a slit by the side, a decent slit of about 7 inches.

The dress was beautiful and insanely hot with the short sleeves.

I'm so gonna turn heads!!

Diana's fess was nothing less. It was also a silk jet black, knee-length dress, with a slit cut across from the middle to the length of the dress.

There were ruffles on the slit for covering up. The sleeves were spaghetti hands but she had a black scarf for coverage.

I got dressed and wore my black stiletto heels. I brushed my recently dyed black straight hair. I apply a little makeup and carry my black purse with my phone in it.

I see Diana taking her time even though we have less than 10 minutes before Sean's arrival.

"Whoa. Where are you girls going looking insanely hot?" Amelia asks as she wakes up from sleep.

"Rick's family dinner that we were invited too" I smile, trying not to hurt her.

"Oh that's nice. Y'all should enjoy yourselves. You guys look great" she tells us.

"Thanks. Do you know where Ayisha has been? I haven't seen her for a while" I ask her.

"Nope. Her bed's been empty, I thought you might know. She's not been here for two nights now" Amelia says.

"Wow. I'll call her and ask her what's up" I inform Amelia. This is strange, really strange.

"Sure sure" she replies. Diana is all ready, her curly deep blue hair compliments her dress perfectly. She looks great.

"Sean said we should expect him really soon. He's in the school compound already" she says.

"Don't we need like a permission?" I ask her cause we could get in a lot of trouble.

"Nah. Kayla got that covered. She told her dad so, we can't get into trouble J" she smiles at me. "Okay" I smile back.

"You look great by the way" she smiles.

Knock! Knock! "Okay, that must be Sean. Let's go" Diana tells me.

"Okay. See you later, Amelia. Please call me if Ayisha turns up" I tell her. "Will do" she replies.

Diana opens the door and Sean stands there in shock. Like he just saw a ghost. His mouth was opened in shock.

"Sean, are you okay?" I asked, kinda worried. I know we look hot but, we didn't dress to literally kill.

He doesn't answer, he stares at us then, stares at me and then moves his eyes to Diana.

"Baby, never take this dress off. Please" he drools literally. Ew! Wait he called D baby? She has a lot to explain later.

"Ew! Sean, close your mouth. Let's go" Diana says rather irritated.

"You guys look so amazing. I've never seen you girls like this. I'm sorry for doing that to the floor and staring like that" he apologises.

"Apology accepted and thank you" Diana says and we go outside. We move to his car and he opens the door for us both.

"Why thank you" I tell him as I get in. He locks the door after me and proceeds to his seat.

"This night is gonna be lit" he says and starts the engine.

The drive was not too long as Sean is driving slowly as we reach and estate gate. This estate looks so good and expensive.

"Wait.. Rick lives here? The Exquisite Estate?" Diana says in shock as well.

"Yup!" Sean answers.

"Who are you here to see?" a security officer asks us. "The Fetchers" Sean answers and the gate is immediately opened.

They're supposed to call them but I think they informed them that, they'll be inviting guests over.

"Haven't you been here before? They should know you" I ask him. "Yeah some do. I guess that guy's new" he replies.

"Here we are" he stops at a big black and white mansion. The automatic gate opens as it sensed a car approaching.

We get out of the car and proceed to the door. Sean used the doorbell.

A man dressed in a butler-like uniform opens the door, I guess he's the butler.

'You think?' my subconscious answered.

"Mr Michaels, happy to see you graced the event and I see you've brought guests. You may all go in" he tells us, smiling.

He seems nice.

"Thank you Sam" Sean replied him as we walk into this house of beaut. The inside is even more gorgeous.

Chandeliers, gold to be exact, dripping down from different angles.

Sam leads us to dining table area where people were gathered, some seated already. It was designed beautifully.

There were cameras set up already, probably for Mrs Fetcher's show. Yay! I can't believe I'll be on TV. I need to call my mum!!
