His mum literally fainted but woke up after a while. "Sam, tell the driver to prepare the car" Mr Fetcher told their butler.

"Mum, please you need to calm down. Ian would be fine" Rick held his mum who recently fainted but she's okay now.

"Rick, don't say that. Your brother is in the hospital, he's not fine. Nothing is okay" she wails.

"Mum, you can't know that till we get to the hospital" Rick tries to cheer his mum. "Okay okay. Let's go then" she wipes her teary eyes.

"Mum but I need to drop Jas. You know, my girlfriend" he informed his mum.

"Oh sorry dear. Don't worry, meet us at the hospital. Drive safe baby" she tells me and him as Mr Fetcher escorts her to the car.

They leave and, it's only Rick and I. Diana and Sean left when I went with Rick for the house tour.

She sent me a text saying she left, saying Sean said Rick would drop me off. So, I wasn't pissed.

"I know what you're going to say Jasmine. I'm sorry for saying you're my girlfriend.. it's just my mum would never let me call you just a friend.."

".. I was staring at you since and my dad could start comparing me with my brother again. The bottom line is I'm really sorr.." he was rambling.

But, I cut him off with a peck on the lips. "Shut up! I don't have a problem with you calling me your girlfriend" I smile even though he's still in shock.

I love making him feel this way. I'm excited!!!

I peck him again and say, "Now, drop me in school and go see your brother as fast as possible. So your mum won't be upset" I tell him.

"Wait.. you just kissed me on the lips?" he asks me, ignoring all I've said and being way too dramatic.

"So? And I didn't kiss you Rick, stop getting way ahead of yourself" I poke his nose with my finger and laugh. I'm enjoying this, lol.

"I just pecked you, it's not a big deal" I laugh at his shocked expression again.

"I think you're still recovering. Meet me outside then" I laugh again and make my way to the door.

I have this boy at the palm at his hands. Lmao.

When I'm about to leave the house. Rick shouts, "Jas wait. You can't be going outside like by such a time. It's cold".

He stretches out his jacket to me. "No thanks. I'm being such a burden" I tell him shyly.

"No you aren't" he says and smiles, still holding out the jacket to me.

"And besides, you can keep it. I have other jackets Jas" he laughs and I laugh back, I take the jacket and wear it.

"Thank you Rick" I smile at him. "Sure Jas. Anything for you" he holds my waist as we go outside.

"He introduced me to his mum and dad. They were really nice but, it was cut by a call from the hospital" I told D.

"What happened?" she asks me. "His brother was injured. The person didn't really disclose much" I start.

"They left in a hurry but Rick made sure to drop me. Even though, I know he prefers that to seeing his brother" I say to her.

Flashbacks of the family photos and me seeing Ian's face, my Ian.

I wipe those memories off and try to tell myself it's all in my head. Could it actually?

"Why would brothers hate themselves like that?" Diana asks me.

"Beats me but I'm guessing their dad has a fault in this" I tell her.

Diana replies me, "Hmm.. he does look strict". I'm about to reply her when Ayisha walks in.

The three of us in the room screamed her name, "Ayisha!!" we hugged her.

"Hi guys" she said so lowly. Totally not matching up to our energy and she looked really dull.

"Girl where you been?" Diana asks her. "For reals, we've been trying to reach you" I tell her.

She looks at us and looks at her bed as she sits on her bed.

"Uh.. sorry guys. Something came up so I had to go home real quick" she says lowly and she keeps staring at her feet.

"You sure?" I ask her. She doesn't look fine to me at all. She's grown a lot thinner and she looks sick.

"Yeah yeah" she hesitates and lays on her bed.

"Okay then" I try not to push her to not get her annoyed, she looks rather upset already.

Soon, we see her already sleeping. She like just got here.. how is she already sleepy?

"Something is definitely up with her" Amelia says. "Yeah but let's not push it, when she's ready, she'll talk" I tell them.

"Sure. Let's continue our conversation. Plus, we have to go shopping soon" Diana reminds me of my school trip shopping.

Isn't that like a tad bit unnecessary?
