After the argument between Ayisha, Amelia and me. Amelia did the same thing she did when she framed her.
She sent a text to all 12th graders to meet us up in the school field, early on this morning.
"You don't have to do this" Ayisha says to her, as if reading my mind.
"You don't need to worry" Amelia wipes her tears, forcing a smile as she moves to the field.
As soon as she stands in front of seated and impatient students, they all went silent.
"Um.. hey guys" she starts, getting everyone's full attention. Her voice was audible since there was no noise except the breeze blowing grass around the field.
"So, I called you all here for this little impromptu meeting to rectify an issue that happened a few months back"
"I've been a bad and wicked person to Ayisha over here. I started a rumour about her, a lie about her"
"Bottom line is I lied, I told a huge and terrible lie which I made all of you believe or at least, most of you" she looks at me.
"I am so sorry Ayisha. I know I was a bad person but I promise to change. Please, can we stop with the false drama to Ayisha?"
"She's not that type of person. I was just really bitter about my feelings. Thank you guys for gracing my text and for coming. Bye!" she says and starts tearing up.
We expect people to leave but most people are still seated.
"Why would you do that Amelia?" a voice from the crowd says. "And now you want to cry?" another says.
"We should have believed Ayisha" someone yelled. "I hate you Amelia, we all should too" someone else says.
Why are they speaking like this? She has accepted her mistake and apologised well. They don't have any right to be angry despite what they even did to Ayisha too.
Someone else is about to yell but is shut off by Amelia's teary voice, "Don't you think I know all these already? I practically hate myself"
I go to meet her and tell her she doesn't need to tell them anything.
"No no. Let me talk to these pretenders. We all have a fault in this, yes!"
"I started a rumour of which you all carried everywhere and you vindicated her. And now, I've apologised"
"Nobody should dare judge me. We all are guilty" she hisses and walks to us in tears.

Weeks have passed since that apology. A lot of people have come sincerely to apologise to Ayisha.
And a lot of people now hate Amelia but; Diana, Ayisha and I promised to stick with her throughout.
Yes. D and I settled too. It's been hectic and great at the same time. Well, that's what high school will do to you.
"And for that reason, we'll be going on a school trip" Mr Philips, my history teacher, addressed the class and everyone screamed in excitement.
"Wait what's the school trip for?" I asked Alyssa, the person seated next to me.
"We're going to the museum to learn a few things and we're going to have fun!" she squealed.
"What's so fun about a school trip?" I asked cause I have never been to one before even in Crescent High, my previous school.
"What? You've never been to one? Well, it's worth the hype. Lots of things happen, good and bad. Mostly bad" she grins.
She must really like this. "Is there no supervision whatsoever?" I ask her.
"Oh sweet Jas. If anything is gonna happen, it will whether teachers are there or not" she winks.

"We're going on a motherflipping school trip!" Diana says in unison with Amelia.
"Wait you guys too?" I asked, confused.
"Yes girl. Our geography teacher told us something about a conference, not that I care. All I know is we're going on a school trip" Diana squealed.
"Yeah me too" I say not as excited as she is cause I don't get the excitement.
"Seriously? You don't look or sound excited?" Diana says. "What's there to be excited about?" I roll my eyes.
"Girl everything. The boys, the games, the switching of rooms, some girlfriend proposals. Plus Rick, Sean and Kayla are coming. Did I mention Rick already?" she juggles her eyebrows, smiling.
"Yes Diana. Okay, when is it? How sure are you it's the same trip?" I ask her.
"Our school are not that expensive to take us on separate trips when we can always go to the same place but achieve different things"
"So, it's next week. We have a lot of time to prepare. But first, we need to prepare for Rick's family dinner tomorrow" she says.
Oh shit. I forgot about that.
"Shit! I don't even have a dress yet" I slightly panicked, I don't want to ruin this for Rick, it's important to him.
It's his sister.
"That's why we're going shopping!" Diana smiles widely.
