"Girls, wake up! You don't have all day, y'know?" a voice from a microphone that usually wakes us up talks.
I yawned lazily, got off my bed and went to brush my teeth before having my bath in the bathroom.
After cleaning myself up, I got out my already ironed uniform from my little closet, wore my socks and already polished shoes.
"Jasmine, you're all set earlier than usual" Amelia told me. "Yes Amelia. I wanted to be a bit earlier today. Okay?" I replied her in her tone.
"Okay. I'm just saying its weird, even for you" she told me.
"Okay Amelia, thanks for sharing your opinion. I'll like to meet up with the rest for breakfast. You coming?" I fake-smiled.
"Sure. Let me get my stuff" she returned the gesture. I laughed when she left to get her things.
I decided to pack my platinum blonde hair into two pigtails, curling two strands of the hair to put in front.
I applied lip gloss to my lips and some mascara to my eyes. I put on my studded earrings on both my ear piercings.
"Okay princess, ready?" Amelia called me. "So now you can call me names, let's go" I tell her and we're off.

I go to the courtyard where most gather when there's recess and I see Ayisha sitting in a corner all alone. This girl is so weird.
She's my bunkmate cause we use bunk beds, and she doesn't even talk to me except a few 'hi's or hey's'.
"Hey bunkmate" I round all bubbly as I walked up to her. "Oh hi. Uh.. Jasmine, right?" she says as she looks at me.
"Yeah" I smile at her. Ayisha is really pretty and she's wearing a black hijab to match her black flay skirt. For every uniform colour, she has a hijab to match.
Her eyes are so beautiful, amber in colour and not even big. Her lips are small too, the problem is just she's way too quiet.
"So how are you?" I tried to start a conversation. "I'm alright" she answered.
"Okay. Just wanted to check how you were and see if you want us to know about each other" I say.
"That's really bold. I'll tell you to know about me if I want, I'll inform you. I'm doing well, bunkmate. Plus, you see me every day. Thanks for your concern" she said.
Whoa that's the most words she's ever said to me considering we've been bunkmates for almost 2 weeks now.
"Okay sorry for too much questions" I apologize to her.
"Thank you. I prefer less conversations and more book reading, if you'll excuse me" she said, not looking up from her.

"Yo Jas!" a voice yelled from a distance and I smile when I see Josh and Isaac coming towards me.
"Hey Isaac. Hey Josh" I smile at them. "How are you love?" Isaac said with his sweet accent.
"I'm alright, you?" I say to him. "I'm chill" he replied.
"You're off to where now? Cause you're walking all alone and we the handsome princes come to accompany you" Josh interlocked our arms.
"Oh nothing. There's no harm in me walking myself. I'm going for my Biology class, you guys too?" I ask them.
"Isaac's going for physical Ed class near the Biology lab but I'm having Biology too" Josh replied.
"Okay then. Let's be off boys" I go with them.
