It's been a month and half I've been in school and we'll soon go home for the winter holiday.

I miss my mum. I called her last week but I plan on calling again now. "Momma!" I scream from the phone.

"My love, how are you?" she asks. "I'm really okay mum. You?" I reply her.

"I'm fine. Hope you're beginning to prepare for your upcoming exams? You know you resumed late" she asked me.

"Yup I am" I tell her truthfully. "Okay. How are your friends too? It's so lovely you have friends" she squeals.

"Mum, you're talking like I'm some anti socialist or something" I laughed. "Nope, I just thought you'll be shy considering what you've been through" she says calmly.

"I understand mum. I'll be going now. Bye, I love you" I tell her. "Okay baby. I love you too" she replies and hung up.

"Hey" someone called me while I was reading in the library. I turned to see Ayisha.

"Oh hi Ayisha. What are you doing here?" I ask her. "I was getting a book to read and I saw you" she told me.

"Okay that's good. Uh.. anything else?" I smile at her. "Uh... I don't know.." she trailed off.

It was obvious that she had something to say. "Ayisha, if there's anything, please say" I urge her to say.

"I don't want it to seem like I'm intruding in your life or anything" she mutters.

"You're not Ayisha, talk to me. Is there something happening to you?" I urge her cause she was starting to scare me.

"No no nothing's happening. I don't really like talking much or intruding as you've obviously noticed"

"But, I'm a good observer and I've been observing you and I see that you're a good person and you deserve my advice"

"Well, these past days you've been really close to Amelia, our dorm mate. I'm not saying it's a problem or you guys shouldn't be friends"

"She's just bad news and you need to give her some distance. So you'll not enter any sort of trouble you'll regret"

"I'm just saying because you seem really naive and vulnerable, excuse me for saying that but it's the truth. Don't fall into a trap"

"Trust me Jasmine. I've made that mistake" she ended. Her tone sounding with so much sincerity.

"Why should I trust you Ayisha?" I ask her. I continued, "You've never really given me a reason to trust you, so why should I?"

"You've never talked to me or even rather offer to be a friend to me. I make a friend and now you say things about mistakes, trouble and she's bad news"

"Calling me naive and vulnerable like you know me so extremely well. So why should I listen to you? Cause you've not given me a reason to?" I end.

"I know I've been really the worst person ever but I'm just telling you I know what I'm saying. I'm not forcing you but it's just a piece of advice. Sorry for disturbing" and she's gone.
