Chapter 29: "Just shut up and kiss me already"

"Everybody get in. The flight's about to start and I am not ready to leave anyone behind" Mr Philips tells us, both Geography and History students as we make our way into the plane.

Yes, our school is that rich. We have our own school private plane. They prefer not to stress us students or our parents with hour long drives.

I get seated amidst my girls, Diana and Amelia. Ayisha isn't here cause she's offering neither subjects.

But even though she wasn't offering any of the subjects, she could still come like Sean.

He wasn't offering any of the subjects but he's here. Ayisha declined our offer instantly which was really strange.

I'm getting really worried about her. She doesn't look so great, I hope she's good.

"Hey girls!" I greet my friends. "Jas!!" they answer and I sit in the chair in between them.

"Let's get this school trip started!" Diana tells and people squeal in response.

High school kids, lol.

Our trip to the New Orleans state museum was nice and educative really even though most people didn't bother listening.

People rather did live videos and take lots of selfies but I really don't get this vibe.

The girls didn't want me to just rest up in the hotel and not have fun a bit.

They got me dressed up and made me do little makeup. I was really confused cause I didn't understand the excitement.

"Where are we going guys?" I asked Diana and Amelia. "Don't worry, you'll see" Diana winked. I'm confused I swear.

"What if a teacher catches us" I say worried. "They won't, stop whining" Amelia laughed.

"Okay sure" I said not to fight.

Our Uber drove us to a place which looked really quiet, price and expensive. Yet quite empty.

"Uh.. you guys sure we're at the right place?" I ask, slightly confused.

"Yeah" D said. "Okay why are we here?" I say again.  "You ask too much questions girl. Chill a little" Amelia rolls her eyes as she laughs.

I miss my cocoa butter kisses, hope you smile when you listen.

"Like who been on your mind? Who gat your time? Who you been giving with? And why can't I make you mine?" I hum to my favourite song, Love songs by Kaash Paige which was playing from inside.

"Girls?" I look around and can't see them. They must have left while I was in the moment with my favourite song.

I, Katy and Sierra were obsessed with singing this song.

The place was so beautiful, streamers of all sorts, beautiful interior decor. It looks like someone had their birthday or would have their birthday here.

But why am I here?

I sit on a chair near the bar and continue singing my still playing favourite song.

And if we paint a perfect picture, we could make it last forever

"But I keep sticking to you like them four stupid letters. You gat me singing love songs, love songs, love so.." I was enjoying the song but it went off so as the lights.

"What the hell?" I whine to no one in particular.

Then, some bright lights from the room started to turn on.

They were representing letters which spelt out.. my name? I looked around to see who's doing this and I see Rick on one knee with a daffodil in his hand.

I'm shocked and amazed like this is so freaking cute. Then, more lights turned on and they spelt 'Be my girlfriend?'

Haaaaaa!! I scream internally. I've been waiting for this day but I've never expected it to be this cute.

"Jas, you'll make me really happy. Please just say yes" he smiles, stretching out my favourite flower to me.

Oh I remember when I told him about my favourite flower and I'm guessing it's D that told him my favourite song.

I'm still too surprised to realise I haven't answers him. Then I see Sean, Kayla, Diana and Amelia come out of somewhere with smiles. I give them sneaky smiles too.

"Jasmine, would you be my girlfri.." he's about to ask again but I cut him off.

"Of course yes. Just shut up and kiss me already" I smile and help him get up, as he kisses me immediately.
