Chapter 35: "Don't cheat on Rick"

We drove in silence after bidding his family goodbye. I feel so bad and angry with myself. Why? Why do they have to be twins? Argh!

I hit the dashboard of the car in anger and that startled Rick cause he parked the car.

Now I gotta explain myself.

"Babe, you've not said a word since. What's the problem? You just hit the dash board, you're scaring me" he said, I could her the worry in his voice.

I actually feel bad for keeping him in the dark. "Okay okay. I'm sorry, this night has not just been my night"

"Meeting Ian was just so new and scary. He was in my past you know, and I left Crescent unexpectedly. Buh there's no need to worry, okay baby?" I pecked his cheek and smiled.

"You sure? If I knew, I wouldn't have let you meet my family or him at least. I'm sorry" he apologises. Why? He's the best fr.

"No baby, don't blame yourself. You didn't know. Let's just drop this and please take me back to school, please?" I told him.

"Okay sure" he pecked my lips and continued driving.

"Goodnight baby" he opened the car door and helped me out.

"Goodnight babe. Thank you" I smiled as he kissed me. I hope no one catches us.

"Okay, that's enough lovebirds. There's not enough time, let's get your girl inside"Kay came out and told us.

I texted her earlier to help me sneak in cause she was on duty again.

We laughed and broke our kiss. We bid ourselves goodbye while Kay helped me in.

"You came back to this room late, young lady" Diana sat on my bed.

"Uh yeah. You guys were asleep especially Seren, she was snoring" I laughed. Seren is our new roommate replacement after Ayisha's death.

She's really nice and funny. She really fits in perfectly with us.

"Okay okay buh we were tired that's why" Diana whines. "Sure. I was at Rick's place" I said and start remembering him, Ian.

"Aw. My fave couple but what's wrong? You don't look too happy" she notices my mood change.

"Why should I really? I met his twin brother finally" I answer her.

"Well, that's supposed to be a good thing, right?" she asked me. "It would've been but he was in Crescent and.. I had a huge crush on him" I tell her, honestly.

"Fuck! Where you guys ever together at any point?" she asked me.

"Not yet at the time. When I lost my family, he confessed his feelings and I felt it was a bad time. So, I yelled at him and ignored him. And I finally see him yesterday at my boyfriends house as his twin. Why?" I cry internally.

I already told Diana a bit of my past. "Oh my gosh. Girl, that's a whole drama. How are you going to deal with it?" she asks.

"I don't know D but, I do know Ian was really angry and I explained later to Rick" I told her.

"Wait.. you told Rick you guys liked each other?" she asks, confused.

"Nope, he'll be angry considering they hate each other already. But I hope to talk things out with Ian eventually" I say.

She replies me, "Oh I hope you do. That would be really nice cause he's your boyfriend's brother. It won't be cool for him to hate you. Okay?"

"Yes girl. You know deep down I still have feelings for Ian, it might be little but it's still there" I confess.

"Jasmine. There's one thing you shouldn't ever do. Don't fuss over spilled milk, he was just a crush. Don't cheat on Rick" she advices.

"I won't" I say but I know I'm lying because I'm not really sure anymore.

I really am.
